To bad McCain didn't choose Tina Fey to be his VP candidate. I think she's smarter than Palin.

Oh Bucco, why do YOU take everything so personally? Are you Sarah Palin's uncle or something?

Default the point?

I took it that the point of McCain choosing Palin was to try to gain the Hillary vote! There are major differences between Hillary and Palin. I believe that was the point of the post...atleast that is how I took it!

"To bad McCain didn't choose Tina Fey to be his VP candidate. I think she's smarter than Palin. "

You folks HONESTLY AND REALLY believe that you are not making fun when you do this just about on a daily basis. You really believe you are fair and discussing politics !!

Thumbs up I know!

Bucco, just to clarify, I absolutely know I'm making fun of Sarah Palin! She's a joke! And a bad one at that.

BTW, I would bet you that Tina Fey is quicker, brighter and more well versed on the world around us than Sarah Palin is. I'd love to see those two in a debate!

What do you think Charlieeeeeeeeee?

Another high level post by the person who says the right is always attacking and mocking the left...and who I think said...hey, lets discuss issues !

I cannot imagine making fun of someone either in private life or public...especially those who have more guts than any of us by taking the heat and running for office.

Mocking folks, either in private or public, is just plain not nice, immature and not a trait that I can ever respect.

Lightbulb Reality Check!

You're friend McCain does it all the time. And what about the ridicule from the Republican Convention. One speech after another ripping Senator Obama. Gulliani and Palin were the worst! If she can't take it, she should not dish it out!

Go Tina, go Tina, go Tina!

It's difficult for me to consider anyone with the willingness to run for office, take all the garbage associated with campaigning, actually acquire votes, do the job (although rarely is there 100% approval ratings for anyone), run again and get elected again (by more voters), and get nominated for even higher office as "a joke."

All of the candidates, regardless of anything else, are to be commended for being willing to endure such public scrutiny and still go forward. I'm not sure of y'all, but I don't have the willingness to bare my life and soul to the general public, ask my family to do the same, expect my family afterwards to "joyfully" relocate to another part of the country for a period of years (knowing it IS temporary), nor the desire to work hard for people only to be ridiculed by them afterwards. Regardless of my opinion on each candidate's qualifications and experience, they were willing to "take the baton" and run with it. That's more than most will do, and whether I vote for them or not, I thank them for their actions.
