Michelle Bachmann?; right now I'd vote for Charlie Sheen over Barack Obama? Who are we kidding here?

Yes, Charlie Sheen would be a significant improvement over B. Hussein Obama.

Please people, come up with someone I can vote for. I don't know which is the dumbest, Michelle or Rick.

I think she was making a joke. You somehow missed that. You don't like who's running for president. If everybody thinks like you I'm concerned about who is voting.

Pay attention to the polls. B. Hussein Obama is losing the black voters. 96% of blacks voted for him in 2008. The numbers are in the mid 80's now.

I have a feeling he is proud of his middle name; don't you?

I don't hear him using it....the previous president was GW or George or W but I don't know what the middle name was.

Why would it be used.....cause its Muslim? I suspect if it was Harry we wouldn't know about it.

Seedy at best.

Cologal,

The W stood for "Weasel".

Staying near the bottom. Good for you.

By the way Cologal; I think most people know George W. Bush's middle name is Walker. This President's middle name IS Hussein, and it IS Muslim. Are you ashamed of it? Is the President? Methinks thou protests too much.

Guest 08-30-2011 11:49 AM

"W"

I thought it stood for WIN.

You know.

A WIN over Gore.

A WIN over Kerry.:crap2:

Yea, the WIN over Gore sent Gore over the deep end from which he never recovered. Lucky thing for America that Gore lost because he could not handle adversity. :sing:

Walker and Herbert, the name of George W. Bush's father, George Herbert Walker Bush, are names of ancestors. The names can be traced back to both maternal and paternal ancestors in America. I don't see anything funny or odd about honoring family when naming children.

Barack Hussein Obama II is named after his African father, who was a Kenyan native and, at the time of Obama's birth, his father was a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies. (Kenya formally gained its independence from the United Kingdom two years after Obama's birth.)

Hussein Onyango Obama was Obama's grandfather.

Like the Bush family, Obama's parents carried on a tradition of honoring relatives by giving children their names. I don't see why it is seen as offensive when someone uses a middle name. Especially when it shows a sort of family tree and geneology.

This is the one reliable kind of response ! And then clutter the board complaining about remarks that pertain to someone you like ! WOW

Guest 08-30-2011 01:45 PM

As I have said here several times, all Presidents who have a middle name have used them in their oath of office. The only reason that a couple of posters here keep referring to President Obama's full name is to try and get under our skin. They think we will cry racism and then those few posters will criticize by calling us haters. It is just a vicious circle. Do not fall for their goading techniques.

And the reason for the degrading remark about our last President is what ? It has what to do with what ?

Your opinion on ".......only reason that a couple of posters here keep referring to President Obama's full name is to try and get under our skin."
is your opinion and you alone.

If you check the archives of this forum, and other political forums you will see the last President refered to as George Walker Bush many times..as well as William Jefferson Clinton. Lyndon Baines Johnson was well known by his middle name.....George Herbert Walker Bush was known by the name in many circles....James Earl Carter was another....Ronald Regan did not use nor was he known in many circles with his middle name (Wilson)....of course Richard Milhous Nixon was known under that name quite openly.

There is a sensitivity, discussed during the campaign to his middle name. It seems to bring out lots of emotion for some reason (wonder why) It IS his name and despite your "opinion" can be used without "trying to get under your skin" !

G. Walker Bush
G. Herbert Walker Bush
R. Milhous Nixon
J. Earl Carter
L. Baines Johnson
B. Hussein Obama

How many of these have you seen on the board? I've been here since the beginning and have only seen one. Spin that one.

This post makes absolutely no sense whatsoever !

Spin this one ? My post clearly states this forum AND OTHERS.....guess as someone said, ubers dont read it all, but mainly this is such an inane conversation.....with all that is going on in this country and the world, character assassination is not woth the effort. You guys enjoy the playground games of calling names...I am more concerned with the world and the country and discussing that.....amazing that this post was even made.....makes no sense.

Keep defending the middle name of the President...do not allow its use. that is vital to the world...and vital to be discussed. VERY IMPORTANT to discuss that so I will step out of your way ! WOW is all I can say.

Guest 08-30-2011 03:17 PM

You folks should have the same passion for the issues that confront us...that would be nice

Now they catch B Hussein's uncle, Obama Onyango, an illegal alien with drunken drive. Obama's Aunt was caught last year living the good life with taxpayer's money.

1-Racism? I thought that his mother was white, plus he was raised by his white grandparents...
2-Barry Soetoro, Barak Obama, Barak Hussein Obama,...Looks like this guy uses the name that he thinks best suits his needs at the time. Could it be that he let the "Hussein" cat out of the bag with a purpose that best suited his needs?

Yes. For occasions such as this:

"The Obama administration is set to begin formal contacts with the Muslim Brotherhood, a group dedicated in its own words to “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within, and sabotaging its miserable house.”

This news came in a Reuters report Wednesday, quoting a “senior U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.”
Why this official felt it necessary to speak on condition of anonymity is a mystery, given the fact that Barack Obama has never made a secret of his solicitude for the Muslim Brotherhood. Even though the Brotherhood was still outlawed in Egypt at that time, he made a point of inviting leaders of the group to attend his speech to the Islamic world in Cairo on June 4, 2009.

Not only that. Obama included the leader of a Muslim Brotherhood-linked group that had been named an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case among the clerics giving a prayer during his inauguration ceremonies: Ingrid Mattson, then-president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), offered this prayer at the National Cathedral on Obama’s Inauguration Day – despite the fact that ISNA has admitted its ties to the Brotherhood. In fact, so overwhelming is the evidence of ISNA’s involvement with the Brotherhood and Hamas that the previous summer, federal prosecutors had rejected a request from ISNA to remove its unindicted co-conspirator status. Obama even sent his Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett to be the keynote speaker at ISNA’s national convention in 2009......"

Sure; it was a childish question about who was the dumber between 2 Republican candidates for president. As that silly question couldn't generate much thoughtful repartee, the discussion naturally shifted to other more interesting points of discussion; much like what happens at your kitchen table or the corner table at the local bar.

But any question can cause you to throw insults. You should be ashamed of what you post on this web site.
You are now blocked from me seeing anything you say just at Admin recommended. Good riddance

Richie is one of the best posters here and he was right about this silly title to this thread. How are we to have serious discussions when it starts off on the wrong foot with a title? OK. You going to block me too?

You asked, I told you. This is your thread. That was your title. Please do not get mad at me.

Guest 08-31-2011 02:40 PM

I responded in another thread before I saw this one. Villager II is enraged because I classified his question of "Which of these 2 candidates is dumber?" as childish. This is a non-forgivable insult? OK; whatever.
