Plain and simple.

Deport all illegals with any criminal record.
Deport any illegal receiving benifits under false pretense.
Criminal charges for employers of illegal.
Work permits for parents of immigrant usa born citizens, no benifits for parents.
When child reaches legal age he/she can sponsor parent thru regular channels including the 10 year guarantor agreement.
All others, don't commit a crime (any crime) don't get deported.

Simple , I give trump my permission to use it.

Above is a good example of why we should halt illegal (criminal) entry, because if we did the care for illegals that we spend money on, could go to the truly needy such as the car accident victim. By entering illegally they are already criminals, but we don't enforce our own laws do we. If people immigrate legally, now that is a totally different story.

SOLUTION-THERE IS NO EASY ONE.
A lot would change if we simply enforced our immigration laws for a start, rather than sending a message that if you can get in you can stay!

ASIDE-I recall reading a while ago that when we return illegals often we pay for CHARTERED AIR FARE-the reason is we refuse to just dump them at the boarder. We return them close to where they come from-often a small village with no regular airfare.
We should send them back home in the least costly way, and deduct the cost from aid $$$ which are probably sending to their home countries. We are really fools aren't we!

TRUMP-spoke about a wall with Mexico. The boarder with Mexico is the rio grand river unfortunately the river moves.
No mention was made about the larger boarder with Canada. If the river is wide enough we could get by with less than a wall in that area. As far as Canada goes, they secure their border a lot better than we do, and we don't have millions of Canadian's wanting to jump our border.

Upon reviewing the previous posts (comments) it is my opinion that you are all right and all wrong. What I am saying is that like most issues its complex but the solutions are simple if we remain unemotional and are honest with ourselves .

Indeed some illegals are lawless and need to be deported.
Indeed some illegals are collecting benefits being granted by people who want them to seek a vote
Indeed some employers cove cheap labor.
But it is also true that
some illegals came here in fear of their lives
some to make a better way of life
some are very productive
some perform jobs that others will not take at an price
some do excellent work
some are good people kind warm hearted caring

Yes America needs to secure here borders.
Yes America needs to rid itself of those who will not assimilate

There is plenty of space at the decision table to sort this out PROVIDED we can get politicians the heck out of the way
