Bain capital rescued a company, kept them employed and afloat for years afterward. The as has nothing to do with the reality of the situation. This mill was one part of a large company that Bain rescued that is alive and well because of Bain and employs thousands. The woman spoken of has nothing to do with the company, nor has anything to do with having insurance or lack of The man in the campaign has met and is on a working basis with the Obama campaign which they said was not true. You can lie by omission and comission. This covers it all. |
Well You Didn't Build It--Oops
Well you didn't build it, I did. You know that Field of Dreams in Iowa well you didn't build it, I did You know the Internet well Al Gore didn't build it, I did You know that guy ,Osama bin Laden, that was was killed in Pakistan the Navy Seals didn't do it, I did You know this guy that claims to have built Bain Capital, well he didn't build it I did....wait oops:oops: |

Politico knows darn well as confirmed by multiple sources that Romney left Bain management in '99 in any decision making capacity, but only held financial interests after that. There a famous quote from Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf that this constant drumming on Bain Capital brings to mind. "But the most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly and with unflagging attention. It must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over. Here, as so often in this world, persistence is the first and most important requirement for success." Hitler's minion, Dr. Goebbels, is credited with another applicable thought; "Repeat a lie often enough and it will believed" |

2. A search of the Securities and Exchange commisssion website shows no investigation or discussion of such...thus supplying the source would help since I like to deal with facts. 3. If you even google this, you will get nothing but left leaning bloggers on forums like this talking about it but no facts. |

THEN.....all of them come on after and rave about it and they have no idea whatsoever of what they are talking about so I am just not going to let them just say stuff. BUT, the frustrating thing is I do not think they care one iota. It is as if they were getting paid to insure that the company line is on here and never mind discussion on it or even if it is true...just say it ! These people will vote.....without a clue. A poster a few days ago on a thread where the auto bailout came up DID NOT KNOW THAT THERE WAS AN ALTERNATIVE to the bail out. Did not even know that they could have gone bankrupt and been reorganized. The poster was under the impression if Obama had not bailed them out..they would all be out of work period ! |

The companies would either have survived the reorganization or not. If they were able to work out a deal with the unions and cut back on their costs and reorganize their debt, they could survive, albeit maybe in a smaller footprint. There is much success in the auto industry in this country, but it's mainly the non-union plants where this was so. These companies would have swiftly filled the vacuum created if GM or Chrysler had actually crashed and burned. The decline of unionized labor is of great concern to Democrats in pure political concern. My private feelings and lifetime support of private sector unions have nothing to do with the truth of my above statements. |
I really like the one poster who said something like if you google Romney and Bain Capital, the only things that show up will be from left leaning sources. That seems a little out there that all the sources showing Romney's term with Bain Capital are from left leaning sources.
That is sort of like saying a big chicken dinner is always from KFC with no other alternatives ever to be discussed. |

My post said that "hopefully", as in I hope, there would be an investigation. I never said there is an investigation. A knowledgeable poster said on another thread that what has been alleged that Romney did is worse than what Martha Stewart served time for doing. This questionable activity is not to be confused with the investigation requested by three Congressmen to The Justice and Labor Departments involving Mitt Romney's 20 to 100 million dollar IRA. This could be the October surprise that people are expecting. |

You know, I am aware what you dont want is any advice but here is some.....if you REALLY care about the country, no matter your party affliation, if you REALLY care then start investigating the issues and not the people. If you are interested in simply destroying people, then have a go. You will not find any dirt on Romney no matter how hard you and others want to scream about it. Start concentrating on the issues facing the country....this destruction of people is well beneath any of us in my opinion and your effort to do so is just so ineffective. If your values are of votes instead of actual values, that I suppose is your right...go to it but at least begin to stick with facts. I, for one, am sick of the ads, etc. It is so much an anchor on this country to have this stuff going on. Just discuss issues This is what you said "Hopefully, this is what the SEC is investigating and any charges could be felonious." All good Obamites practice the art of insinuation and implication....a lot easier than facts ! See,the word IS implies that there is an investigation which you knew not to be the case ! |
