Now this is a partisan blame aybody but the current

administration record breaking whopping extrapolation:

"that program led us to the worst financial calamity since the 30's"

It is the single solitary culprit that "LED" the way.

With such an assessment now we know all we have to do is cancel or not renew those programs and that will most certainly LEAD back to prosperity.

And as the saying goes if you buy that I got two more for ya!!!!!!:a040:

ok, let's adopt the Republican program, even though that program led us to the worst financial calamity since the 30's. That's a good one.

Why is it that liberals tend to forget that the last two years Bush was president the dems controlled the house and senate but only point fingers one way?

One of the best analysis of this economic situation I have read said it started with changes incorporated under Bill Clinton and was furthered by subsequent failures by BOTH sides of the aisle in DC.

Let's not also forget that pesky little matter of 9/11 and the subsequent expenditures for national security that Bush had to absorb during his Presidency.

BTW, when is the Congress going to pass a budget for this year ?

Guest 09-22-2010 06:31 AM

I know you know there is no budget. Now just how is that possible? Allowed?

This very subject portrays the disregard for measuring what they do/don't do. There fore with no measuring stick one just SPENDS. What would happen in American households if today we were advised there was no way of tracking check book balances, but don't worry, just keep spending for what ever you think you need?
Far fetched example? Not one bit.

It was openly announced earlier this year and again later this summer, the subject of budgeting will be delayed as it contains so much embarassment (spending) the Dems did not want to deal with it prior to elections.
Once again, the me first rule takes precedent over doing the elected job.

Throw the bums out. Re-elect no one. (that works for both parties!!!!).

In 2007 the Dems took control of The House and The Senate. Any role they might have contributed???? such as Dodd and Frank? Gotta own that one.

The independent Tea Party Activists and followers are changing the face of the Republican Party, and in November this changing Republican Party will hopefully take America back from the big government socialists who have her in a death grip. The majority will not be silent any longer.

but the majority are the 70-80% who are too busy working, etc, to go around ranting and raving about the nonsense you read about on internet political forums. These are people who are mainly centrists who want both parties to concentrate on the people's business. They are most assuredly not tea party activists, you know the ones who practiced witchcraft in their earlier lives.

I will not either defend or go after any person as you have obviously set your sights on this young lady in Delaware. HOWEVER, consider that those who may be on the other side are sitting with much information and slander for those on the left that you seem to defend without any thought.

I dont think your party wants to get into that kind of mud slinging, especially on a forum such as this (now the mainstream media is a different story), but if you want to engage in that type of thing, please keep it up..it shows where you are coming from.

Folks on here DO criticize elected officials and their backgrounds (not sure if they go as far back as high school as you favor) but they at least will intertwine it with POLICY and ISSUES. Yours is just plain personal !

I would also caution you about the generalization you use to throw ALL "tea party" folks into witch craft advocates. You said "They are most assuredly not tea party activists, you know the ones who practiced witchcraft in their earlier lives.[/quote] That same generalization you use could throw all Democrats into a Charlie Rangel. or even post about her opponent who has a few questionable but explainable quotes in his past.

If i have to choose between the witch and the marxist, I will vote for the witch.

Guest 09-22-2010 04:37 PM

Bucco, you need to develop

a little sense of humor. I'm just poking fun.

Guest 09-22-2010 04:38 PM

Consistently sccoping fplks into buckets to suit their definitions of convenience

to make their polarized point.
The assignation of what they view is so school yard level ranting it is almost funny.
There just is not room for an opposition in their way of life.
There is no deviation from the party poridge that is doled out each day.

Resist....denigrate....down play....redefine....sling mud.

Such generalization and rambling is so ineffective...and lame

We'll see in November if only 20% show up to take back America.

I'm hoping all the Libs keep on believing the myth of a moderate electorate. The conservative majority is energized while the liberal minority is downcast. The result of this, I'm sure, you will not find amusing.

As I said before

most Americans are neither very liberal nor very conservative. The majority are centrists who are fed up with the extremist rhetoric on both sides. Now I do believe that one side may be more motivated to go to the polls this year and that will determine the outcome of many races.
