Donald Trump is a blurter. He isn't a statesman or a politician and he isn't a teacher or an orator. He gets the gist of things, really gets the gist of things and says it not quite right...or he says things he would be better off sitting on and waiting until it all plays out. He says things than he can't back them up because the source is top secret for some kind of National Security. He shoots himself in the foot. He appears to have Aspergers Syndrome and doesn't interact appropriately sometimes although he has to be very intelligent. You don't amass a fortune like that if you are stupid.

He is doing what I thought he would do...bumble around like a brain surgeon trying to sell balloons to make a living. All the lifers on Capital Hill know the inside stuff and how to maneuver around it, but most of all the lifers are very good TALKERS. He has a new staff and doesn't have a clue who he can count on or trust. He isn't good at this job yet, but he does have the work ethic.

I don't know if I can stand the tension of this for four years, but somehow I think he can do it.

This is my female assessment and it does have quite a bit of living behind it and some solid reading and a lot of personal experience and interest in how people work.

I still think he will be impeached once they have enough evidence to present to the American people. He actually does not seem at all popular to the Washington establishment nor to most of the media. And I mean both those on the left and the right.

I feel sorry for Ivanka Trump and her husband. They look like good people in a very bad situation of dealing with a man whose ambitions could not match his abilities. If he got some really talented people in his Cabinet he might be able to pull it around but it looks like they will be eventually enough evidence for even the Republicans to get in on the impeachment. And Mike Pence would probably also have to go putting in someone that the Republican Establishment would really be able to back. Shades of Watergate and what happened with Nixon and Agnew. Perhaps. But Trump had power. Money is power. I know you will argue he wanted another kind. Power corrupts and I think that Obama trying to keep his foothold and work subversibly is proof of that. Dirty business. And not new. One thing I know. NO ONE can BUY Donald Trump. He is NOT a politician and that makes me happy. Charles Bucco will present an angered argument that I am stupid and he can't see why I can't see DT is lying, but I say, that is yet to be proved and could very well be incorrect. I am old..........and patient. I will wait and see what history says.
