Is it really necessary that our local paper's headlines for THREE days is about Fox news coming? I have no interest in seeing them since I don't listen to them, but do they think we are so old and memory impaired as to not remember what they had written for the past 5 days? There really are more important things to lead with....

It sounds like a political nerve has been irritated. If you are so displeased with the coverage that it motivates "trashing" the paper, maybe you should take a page out of Donald Rumsfeld's book. When he was irritated by a Krugman piece in the New York Times, he didn't whine and rant. He cancelled his subscription. Perhaps a subscription to the NYT would be more compatible with your ideology and relieve your distress. I am sure you will appreciate the "unbiased" reporting and "leads" that old grey lady.... a bastion and benchmark of "professional" journalism.... offers.
By whose criteria do you state with authority that there "really" are more important things to lead with. A lot of folks including myself don't see it quite the same way you do. How about cutting some slack for those of us who enjoy and appreciate Fox News and the Sun?
