Default Fox News special

I do not know if this is fact or not but I have received a number of e-mail hits that Fox News plans to run a very provocative program this Sunday at 9PM Eastern.

I may be wrong about this but there have been many emails that mentioned a Hannity tell all about Barack Obama and they have merely been hoaxes as the original broadcast took place before the last Presidential Election.

Belongs in Political

You are correct. It's old news and it didn't amount to a tinkers-dam. Just garbage - even the wackos (Beckerheads) didn't pick up on it the first time around.

Wrong. My post was about a TV show and I posted it correctly in the TV forum.

Whatever it is or isn't, Fox's ratings are blowing the doors off all of their competitors. More Americans tune into the Fox News Channel than any other cable news network and number 2 isn't even close.

Default Bashing Fox

When you bash Fox News you are bashing Americans. Same as whwn you bash teapartyites.

IMO their high ratings are due to their "unique" programming, and they are the only network in town for it.

People who want a different perspective have a choice and have the option of two other cable news networks. Not saying it's right or wrong - Choice is good.

So you're saying it's unpatriotic to criticize a news organization? That's funny.

Default Learning experience

I have learned a lot on this forum. It has been a huge help in making many decisions as a newbie to The Villages. And now I can add two words to my vocabulary, Beckerheads and teapartyites. Even though any thread about Fox News belongs in Political (MSNBC also) I'm glad that I tuned in.

So... if I comment on CNN's excellent coverage of the Haiti earthquake your suggesting it should be in the Political Forum. Fox news, CNN, MSNBC news are TV programs. This is the TV forum. Now, AFTER the program airs and, if, the content of the program inspires political debate, then, I agree, that debate should be in the Political Forum. My original post had nothing to do with political debate/discussion. It asked a question about a TV program. Additionally, that is why there are administrators.... they relocate threads all the time.
