If you've been around for any time at all you should have figured out long ago that "asking" the people that serve us to do the right thing will fall on deaf ears every day of the week.

You missed the point...tax cuts will only make the deficit go up. Your taxes might fall by a couple hundred bucks...but you'll be adding a few thousands to "your share" of the federal debt.

It's an accounting trick....that's all. Without spending cuts...tax cuts mean nothing.
