Hasan Minhaj goes in on Donald Trump, his family, administration at Correspondents' Dinner

Very funny guy speaks about a very scary one.

He is golfing. Take the win. Priceless.

Trump got elected by beating the progressive, democrat controlled press at their own game.

As to the correspondents dinner. Once again he out maneuvered them. Trump simply refuses to be trapped.

This is a clear difference between Trump and say Palin. Mccains campaign was run by a wall street friend with no political background. Palin, unlike normal practice, did not have the questions in advance. Yet, her managers allowed her to walk into Katty Coricks AMBUSH. Yes, it is normal practice for the reporter to give the candidate the questions in advance.

There are no do overs. But, with a proper manager, Palin would not have shown up without advanced questions.
It might have been president McCain rather than Obama an unknown, who anyone who did not vote for him was labeled racist.

TRUMP simply refused to be trapped. Ali-CALLED IT THE ROPE A DOPE.

White House Correspondents' Dinner: Hasan Minhaj's best jokes

Now what would Muslim African-American Muhammad Ali have to say about Donald John Trump?

Well, you are wrong on a few counts. A reporter should not give questions in advance of an interview. The public has the right to see the candidate think for themselves on the spot and not prepared answers by a staff of researchers.

Trump decided not to be present. No problem. He as not going to win friends or enemies either way.

If McCain had picked a reasonable VP candidate, he would have won. Palin was a train wreck and just too stupid and uninformed to be VP. Her family has shown that they are not up to the standards of being representatives of the USA. A daughter with two kids out of wedlock, a brawling son and husband, and the daughter on reality television preaching teen abstinence but getting pregnant.

Palin was the anchor in that election.....I agree, and it "bugs" me to agree on that point as you well know.

Republicans sometimes defy the odds with all the stupidity they show. For years, I defended them.....still love the general premise of the party, but man they know how to screw things up.

A little work by somebody and there would have been a new Health care system already......a REAL tax proposal would be in debate, BUT we have a guy leading who is not leading.

He seems to be the President of ONLY his loyal followers and the rest of America can go pound sand.

WHY? Why would you say that? If YOU were to be interviewed...would YOU not want to know what was going to be asked? You'd agree to be interviewed and the reporter could ask ANYTHING?

Are you an idiot...

You WANT Trump to fail...that's all this is.

You people destroyed this country...it's hasn't finished it's destruction yet...but down it's going.

From #1 in the 1950s to #25 today. Hispanics WILL be the majority within 30 years. We're doomed, you just haven't figured it out yet.

MDLND - just how "cool" do you think you are to be continuing berating Tal? That is the way of grade school kids but certainly NOT the way of rational retired folks.

If you don't agree with him, just keep it to yourself or reply in an adult manner.

Thanks.

I think that if one is going to join in with calling names, such as Tal and many others on here, then they should not fear some derisive responses. I don't really care what you think. If you all think that this is Facebook and you want to coddle the little smart @ss, that's up to you. But, Tal opens himself up for ridicule when he makes stupid, snide remarks and then wishes to hide behind someone's apron. I felt sorry for him and even attempted a civil discussion with him on numerous occasions but he insists in joining the troll-like practice of a few on here. I do not apologize. If he wishes to be treated equally on here, then he needs to learn how to take disagreement with the adults. Life is not going to cater to him. He brings it on himself.

The comedian that he thought was so "cool" was a schmuck for making any association between Trump and the holocaust. You bunch of hypocrites wanted Sean Spicer fired when he made a simple mistake, off the cuff not rehearsed. Where's the so-called defender of victims in this case?
Never mind, you got the point.

The poster actually believes that a political interviewer should give the candidate the list of questions so the candidate's staff can research the answers and the candidate can answer like he knows the answer.

RIDICULOUS!

We got to know Sarah Palin was unqualified for the job of VP.

We learned that the Libertarian candidate (who?) did not know what Aleppo is.

You can't even figure out how to quote...

How many interviews do you think you're going to get if you sucker punch important guests and make them stumble? Trust me...they're given the questions. They/I wouldn't do it without the questions. Candidates don't like being made to look the fool.

Like Donald John Trump quite often especially now that he is POTUS or liar-in-chief.

MDLNB 05-02-2017 02:45 AM

Here's what he said about Perry:

“Hey, has anyone seen Rick Perry since he became energy secretary? I have a feeling he’s sitting in a room full of plutonium waiting to become Spider-Man. That’s just my hunch.”

"Joseph “Ray” Perry, the father of U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry and World War II veteran, has died, it was announced on Friday. He was 92."

Making the joke just 24 hours after losing his(Perry) father, was in poor taste by most standards.

But Minhaj is "cool" right, Tal?
