Vice President Pence had a great turnout. Too bad there was such limited space. They should have reduced the space available to the press. They never have anything good to say anyway. They don't report the news, they attempt to make the news with their opinion articles.

If people changed the channel from 'Faux News' once in a while...they wouldn't always experience that deception. :D

Hate comes to the Villages?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion......even "Guest". I guess when someone who actually can and will make some "changes" versus the "status quo" who merely promise change and do nothing comes along....it can be pretty scary. I judge Mr. Trump on the substance of what he says......not the manner in which he says it. I'm sorry if his non PC manner offends your delicate sensibilities, but your alternative is a more polite.....more of the same BS candidate who thinks she's "entitled" to the Presidency. I'll take the brash, politically incorrect person who tells the truth over the lying, arrogant, political elitist who thinks she's above the law. People like you who vote for more of the same are the first to whine when things don't change.....stop buying the rhetoric and start demanding accountability and change!

Trump "tells the truth"! Now that is the biggest load of crap. Do some research. This man lies constantly.

Guest 09-19-2016 11:31 AM

I judge Mr. Trump on the substance of what he says rather than the manner in which he says it. Yes, he's not a polished, politically correct, career politician, but I prefer hearing the truth over the same old rhetoric about change that will never happen from an arrogant, elitist, liar who thinks she's entitles to the Presidency because it's "her turn". Our country's officials are being elected by people with their hands out. Romney lost because he was quoted as saying 47% of the country receives public assistance which was and is true. 4 years later it's even worse and this is how frauds like Clinton get elected......they pray on the fear that all these people might have to work for a living and lose their federal freebies.....anyone would be a fool to vote for someone who wants you to actually earn a living. The sad part is that people like "guest" will be the first to whine when none of the liberal promises come to fruition....example: THE LAST 8 YEARS

Guest 09-19-2016 11:40 AM

You're right......Trumps a "liar" and Hillary is a pillar of truth, justice and the American way. It's you that needs to do some research even though it's glaringly apparent that you already drank the "kool aid". You can't have an opposing point of view with a closed minded liberal hack because if you don't agree 100% with their point of view you're "deplorable". Maybe after Trump wins you can leave the country with all the rest of the candy ass liberals threatening to do so?

Interesting that you make that statement. A recent study, look it up if you wish, found that half the FOX viewers were Democrat and Independent.
Unlike liberals, many conservatives DO want to be informed, therefore they no only view FOX but the liberal TV news media and Internet news media. I know you will argue this because it is in your contrary nature, but I have still corrected you.

I looked into your head and found it vacant so I left. It was advertised as "turnkey" but there was absolutely nothing there.

By the way, FOX cable news wishes to thank you liberals for making their cable news network the number one cable news network AGAIN.

The Pence/Trump Campaign comes to The Villages today. We don't need misogynist, bigoted, hateful, racists candidates sullying our beautiful community. Send them a strong message that they are not qualified to run our wonderful country. Disgustingly deplorable. We are better than this!

Look into the mirror.

Freedom of the press is most important when the person speaking is saying things you do not want to hear.

YOU THROW OUT THE WORD RACIST-you chose to live in the villages which is like 99% WHITE.

THE FACTS RE: RACE
Obama received 56% of the total vote. Blacks are 13% of the population and Obama got 98% of the BLACK VOTE-but you think WHITES ARE THE RACIST ONES.
The math is fairly simple-to get 56% of the vote with Blacks having voted 98% for Obama and being 13% of the population-OBAMA RECEIVED ROUGHLY 42% OF THE NON-BLACK VOTE.

Do please explain how you PARROT what you are being fed.

OH, if the non black vote was as racist as the black vote was OBAMA WOULD HAVE GOTTEN ROUGHLY 28% OF THE VOTE-THE WORST DEFEAT IN AMERICAN HISTORY.

WAKE UP AND SEE WHO IS REALLY THE RACISTS

I believe there are three different age groups in The Villages, The ones who started families in the 50's, 60's and 70's. The values of those times are apparent in the replies on this site.

The 50's "my wife stays home and has a meal on the table when I get home or I'm mad as hell" control freaks. Those are big Trump supporters, who usually don't read but watch Fox news only and take what they've heard and pass it on as truth among friends, who also watched they same BS on Fox. No investigative reading and the wife votes as the husband does, naturally!!

The next age group of the 60's,where their spouses started going to college or work who started to buck the system! Some of those read but most watch Fox again but their wives are a little more independent and informed, who will vote their own opinion

Then the 70's, when wives were encouraged to work to get a home and their self-esteem needed to be fulfilled. Start reading about current events around the world and understand what their vote means globally as well as domestically. This group cares about what they are leaving behind for future generations, from issues like climate change, Social Security management, healthcare for all and equality, all the way to global wars.

I wouldn't expect the earlier folks to change at all but I have a feeling the younger Villagers will accept their responsibilities to our country and not their parties, so we can feel proud of ourselves and our votes!

Fortunately this Cr&p only goes on every 4 years, and on this site under the hidden GUEST name. Funny how everyone is nice to peoples faces. I live here because you don't have to shovel snow. There was no sign nor did my real estate agent tell me the Villages was only welcoming GOPers or people with their views, so why don't you take the gate and let it hit you in your giant mouth on YOUR way out! Or won't your mouth fit out the gate and your stuck here, such a shame for all the rest of us. Any more Questions?

Perhaps because I was working 50-60 hours a week for 45 years I never paid so much attention to elections.

I am not a supporter of Obama and I hope he is the cause of all this hostility I see. I hope soon it will become apparent that using the RACE CARD is simply unfair. It is as fair as the question DO YOU STILL BEAT YOUR WIFE.

Obama was granted by THE AMERICAN PEOPLE a unique opportunity to put a major dent in the CANCER of RACIAL
HOSTILITY that has been tearing our country apart. For the liberals and the conservatives it has to be clear that Obama has made things worse. Hell, the liberals even launched the race card at Bush because of storm damage in new orleans. Condi Rice in her book directly said Bush is not a Racist-yet the LIBERAL CONTROLLED PRESS fanned these flames.

I'VE POSTED THE FOLLOWING BEFORE-Obama got 56% of the vote in his first election. Obama got 98% of the BLACK VOTE-HOW YOU DO NOT SEE THAT AS RACIST I CANNOT FATHOM. To get 56% of the vote Obama would have received roughly 42% of the non-black vote

RE: YOUR DECLARED HATRED OF REPUBLICANS.
THE FACTS ARE-first of all Florida is split almost evenly between democrats and republicans. For the villages truth be told I do not know the split, BUT, there is no shortage of HATEFUL LIBERAL DEMOCRATS-including yourself.

First, I would like to identify myself. I am of mixed race, from La. worked in law enforcement and private industry. I lived in La. during Katrina. I have firsthand knowledge of the justice system both local and national. I was involved in the disaster response during Katrina.
The screwup was the Democratic Governor and Mayor of New Orleans. Neither one got out in front of the disaster response. I know I was there.
The Hillary's camp started the birther movement against O when she ran against him. Do the research.
Trump is clumsy in speaking off the cuff and says things inarticulately, he has been a hard nosed businessman and taken advantage of every legal loophole he could, but by all accounts he is honest. He is not politically correct.
Hillary on the other hand has proven to be a liar and corrupt person who would do anything to further her position, power and financial gain.
(see Whitewater, Travelgate, theft from the White House, Benghazi, Classified email, destruction of Government documents, etc. )

All of these things about H worry me but what worries me the most and should worry every person in America is the corruption of the two major law enforcement agencies of the federal government. The IRS and FBI.
Think about it.
When a federal agency (IRS) can target a political party or group for harassment and intimidation with impunity what does that say about what it can do to an individual citizen?
When the FBI does not follow standard investigative procedures and clearly fails to follow the letter of the law in criminal violation of a federal statute, what does that say about the corruption of our hope for just and unbiased law enforcement.

Yes Hillary may be elected and I am sure the left and all of her blind followers will rejoice. But there will be nothing and no one to restrict her actions or protect the constitution, unlike if Trump is elected. And like the blind followers of Hitler and Stalin they will learn all too soon what they have wrought.

OMG, you don't even know what you're looking at...now do you? :1rotfl:

Here's the link that the graph came from (since you were too chicken$hit to provide it). ;)

5 facts about Fox News | Pew Research Center
Quote:

The Fox News audience skews more ideological than that of its two main competitors.

Fully, 60% of Fox News viewers describe themselves as conservative, compared with 23% who say they are moderate and 10% who are liberal, according to a 2012 survey by the Pew Research Center.

By contrast, the ideological makeup of CNN viewers (32% conservative, 30% moderate, 30% liberal) and MSNBC viewers (32% conservative, 23% moderate, 36% liberal) is far more mixed.

And let's for the sake of argument, say that 'moderates' split down the middle between left and right, that means 71.5% of Faux News viewers....are righties.

So, you lied through your teeth...again. ;)

Your attempts to lie and obfuscate, by not providing the actual link, might fool your fellow right-wingnuts...but it doesn't fool intelligent folks.

Which brings us back full circle to the link I provided in Post #81, that showed those who rely primarily on Faux News for their information...are the MOST ill-informed.

And you just proved it...so thanks for that.

And by the way, in that same link I provided previously it stated that NPR listeners are the MOST informed.

Now go look at the graph you posted (and that is in the link in this post) and you'll see...only a measly 20% of Republicans even listen to NPR. :ohdear:

You try and lie about me, just because I have a great sense of humor and love hoisting folks on their own petard..... :1rotfl:

And you ignore real scumbags like this...

YOU are the nasty, raging, passive-aggressive, partisan hack...loser. ;)

And yet, he has you pegged perfectly. You can't even stay on subject because it never suits you and your agenda. But, it is a waste of time even responding to you. You are like a rabid dog that will attack with no provocation. At least our racist is not as nasty to his fellow poster, although a bit boring in his repetition. But, you both have something in common, radical extremism in your posting. You are a bad example of the gay viewpoint; a boorish caricature. It has become very difficult to humor you in your immature prattle. Perhaps you should reevaluate your little charade and consider an attempt at adult discussion.

Does lying come naturally to you, or have you spent a lifetime in honing that disgusting skill? :ohdear:

I did a little experiment a while ago, whereby I did not respond to personal attacks but simply kept score.

I think I made it to 15, until I started responding again. :D

So your pathetic whining and crying, is simply born out from the frustration of being made to look ignorant and stupid...not actual facts.

But hey, I can live with that...if you can. :ho:
