I think I've found my "home" on TOTV!!!!

I LOVE GLEN BECK and I DVR his show everyday. I am also an "extreme" member and watch his radio show whenever I am able to do so....which is not as often as his cable show. He is highly intelligent and a very deeply concerned with the welfare of our country.

He is far superior to anyone else on News cable today (as well as talk radio)....and it is obvious that he is a threat to the Progressives ....otherwise....why would they spend so much time trying to discredit him?

I have been skimming the posts, not able to read them all tonight, but to whomever posted that they DVR almost every show on Fox starting with Cauvato....we sound like kindred spirits....I too "skip over" SS.......!!!

I hope all GB fans on this site are aware of his "Restore America" project and can either attend or support it with a donation.

Glad to find several politically like-minded posters on this forum. Do any of you reside in TV?

Annabelle--- I'm the one that DVR's every show, except Shepard Smith. You can see how I spend my evenings. The only "regular" shows I watch are NCIS, Wheel and Jeopardy. You can see, I need help.

Thank you I should have thought of that. That's how liberals get off the subjects that they dont want to hear about.

Waynet, let me propose this challenge. It is obvious to me that you like to debate. It also seems obvious that you don't do your own research. You don't watch Glen Beck but you call him names based on third and fourth party commentary.

My challenge to you, (And anyone of your ilk who is on this thread) watch Glen Beck for a week. Then lets discuss "factually" what you disagree with.

I don't think that tomorrow, Fri 6/25/2010 is a good place to start. The subject is history of black contributors to the founding of our country. I don't find it a controversy. So, start Mon. 6/28/2010. We can discuss each day one day at a time if you wish. Or, you can just show your colors by saying you are not interested in any facts but yours.

Tell you what, Yoda.. *I'll* take you up on it. I can't stand Glen Beck, though he *has* surprised me once or twice when I've seen some clips where I actually agree with him.

I might not get home in time to DVR today's broadcast - but I believe you or someone else mentioned a re-broadcast - do you know when that is?

And actually I think it's GOOD to start with something non-controversial. Sort of starting out with something a bit safe. And if vitriol is the result, well, that'll say something.

My ONLY caveat is that, in the interest of time, I'll watch them on my DVR so I can skip commercials. That brings an hour show down to 40 minutes and sometimes even less

The rebroadcast is at 2AM the same evening. I have to agree with Yoda, Obama has the all the midia on his side, but who is counting since FOX owns the media world. Obama would be in deep **** if NBC or any other one would go after him. He is just a puppet for George Soros.

Just some thoughts on discussing Beck:

1. I admit that Beck at times acts the fool. It is his style. Let's concentrate on reality and verifiable facts. Beck encourages us to look it up ourselves.

2. I take Beck by Regains rule, "Trust but verify." If you insist on verify before trust, that's good by me.

3. If you disagree with Beck, say so and why. We'd like to hear your opinion.

4. Don't, whatever you do, don't say "what about Bush."

5. Let's try to see the truth, all of us.

6. If you are a true progressive, well, you will never care if Beck tells the truth or not. You are what you are.

6. If you are interested in the truth, let's seek it out together.

Be advised that if you have comcast, you can only record one day at a time. Don't ask why.

Heh. I have a pair of HD DVRs from Dish Network. No problems there.

I'll start a new thread with my opinions/reactions to Mr. Beck. I'm just starting to watch the "Founding Fridays" now.

Okay, I found something negative Media Matters had to post about Beck's Founders' Friday shows. It was about the last show, Women of the American Revolution. Media Matters posted a 10 second clip of Beck's opening for the program. Somehow, this is racist and sexist according to comments about the ten second clip.

Media Matters is just a chapter of the extreme left-wing. Media matters does not matter at all.

The problem I have with liberals is that they never form opinions of their own. They just spout what they hear on the left wing wackos like media matters. Perhaps they are just too busy.

I haven't seen a response. So I did his homework for him. I guess he didn't have time to post it.

The ONLY thing I could that Media Matters for America (the watchdog group for America's media), wayne's major source of info about Beck, has said about Beck's Founders' Friday shows was based on a ten second clip from the absolute beginning of the show this past Friday. The negative comments from posters to this website bashed Beck for being racist and sexist based on a ten second opening to a very enlightening, thoughtful, educational program about the role women played in the founding of this country. Get it?

Somewhere, some how I posted Monday for the Beck show. It is Friday's shows we are discussing. Sorry if it confused anyone. It confused me when I saw Monday on some of my posts.

I have watched and I wish I had the time to fact check the programs. Here is an example of what I mean.

Also, wayne, I just looked at the link you posted for The Political Cesspool website. I had never heard of it to be honest. I wondered why the site's founder and radio host James Edward's only comment about Beck's Founders' Friday show on black contributors to America's founding was, "Yes, that’s what he said. In fact, he actually claims that it was a black man who won the Revolutionary War for America."

I thought that was curious and then I read the very odd comments from posters to The Political Cesspool.

Did you realize that this is a white supremacy website before you posted? Political Cesspool's Mission Statement says that the show "represent[s] a philosophy that is pro-White…[and seeks] to grow the percentage of Whites in the world relative to other races."

Beck's show is about history, learning and educating yourself with facts. Nothing more, nothing less.
