Default Health care...well put...

plus a few comments on this President's wavering credibility and use of the CRISIS method !

"And so Barack Obama's address to Congress on health care, at a minimum, must answer the question: What is the crisis? When an individual can't get needed health care, it is certainly a crisis for them. This, Obama might argue, creates moral responsibilities for the rest of us to help. But this would argue for a more incremental approach, adding coverage for the working poor instead of remaking the American health system for everyone.

The overwhelming majority of Americans, by the definition of denied care, do not face a health care crisis. Most polls show that about 80 percent are "very" or "somewhat" satisfied with their health plan."

And then this...

"Those in the greatest need are often the most satisfied -- 90 percent of insured Americans who suffered a serious illness are satisfied with their health care. According to a study published by the Cato Institute, a very small percentage -- even of the uninsured -- are "dissatisfied or highly dissatisfied" with the health care they get in other ways. On health care, the American public seethes with satisfaction -- though most are concerned about rising costs."

Thus we are at the crux of the matter. Stop giving us the inflated numbers of uninsured and address the real problem....COST !!!!!

"So perhaps this is the crisis: rising costs that will eventually overwhelm state and federal budgets and consume more and more of individual paychecks. But this is precisely the area where current Democratic approaches are least credible. Obama abandoned his pledge to reduce the government's health costs long ago; now he only aims at budget neutrality"

I have not heard one person, Dem, Rep, or Ind that did not agree with the crisis with costs....when the President speaks tonight.....that is what I, for one, want to hear....what are you going to do to reduce costs ?

Default I would think we the people would consider the "NOISE"

coming from the "WH" and "Staffers" insinuating that they are relying on Obama's "gift" of speaking and bringing comfort "...as he did during the run for President...".....to be nothing but insulting to our intelligence.

Do they think we are so much in love with how he says things that what he says doesn't matter? That is what they think? Well they are wrong. The polls are showing that words only go so far.

Is it not also amazing that the polls show, have been showing America's dislike for the public option, yet even today, Nancy keeps saying the bill must have it. All the President's leakers to the media are saying Obama is going to speak in favor of it.

His so called magic of not what he says but how he says it is over.
He needs to show we the people he can pick a horse and ride it through...something he has never had to do in his career to date. And he can't just say "present" this time.

Default Speach by obama

I like to listen to Obama speak (oops i mean when he reads what others have written for him).

I like to listen to him because i always know exactly what he means.

He means exactly the opposite to what he says (or reads).

Question Another Thought

I saw in today's paper that these changes will not provide coverage to 97% of illegal aliens. Exactly what does that mean???

For those who cannot afford coverage (and I am speaking of the ones who absolutely cannot afford it....crap, they can't even afford housing or to eat), how are they going to pay a fine for not getting covered???

What am I missing?

(The second paragraph is not talking about illegals, in case you're wondering.)

Default And what does this suggest about his so called ability

(redefined to mean willing to) reach across the siale:

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefi...ks-since-april

When they make a statement like they have it under control, I think they are trying to infer they have the WH, the Congress and the Senate all locked up.
They have since come to appreciate they do not. It certainly has no effect on how some of them proceed. Now the ones who want to be sure they stand a chance of re-election are starting to sing differently.

Risk and reward in politics borders stupidity. It also has nothing to do with we the people......applies to ALL parties!!!!!!!!!!
