Not according to the law. Life begins at birth.

Not so fast...if you kill an unborn child, a fetus, you can be charged.

When it comes to religion far too many people freedom of religion is their right to impose their religion on everyone.
When, we talk about life and death it is impossible to separate your view from your religious upbringing.
You might find it interesting that the first amendment that most people believe gives you freedom of religion actually prevent a state sponsored, religion. Sadly, many if not most people believe that freedom of religion means the right to ram your religious beliefs down the throats of others. It is impossible but, your religion belongs in your home, your temple, church, mosque. It is simply impossible for the public to give equal, fair representation to all faiths. Should we have provision for Christians, Jews, Muslims, quanza, Hindus, Wicca, voodoo, -forgive me if I missed a few hundred others. Hopefully you see my point

THEY get freedom of speech too, just like you. Don't like their religion, speak out against it.
ONLY if you still believe it. I was "brought up in a religious home", I don't believe a word of it now.
Bingo. They didn't want an "official church"...like the church of england.
Actually,
religion needs to be completely banned, all it is is sanctioned deception. Deceive people...and collect 10%. Sounds like government/politics too.

People have always thought that the world will end and things are terrible.
I had a sort of hobby of reading old books from say 1900.
Bicycles were all the rage and they felt young ladies would go to hell now that they could get away. Going parking on a bike?????
I recall another book saying that in NYC if they did not switch to electric trucks people would be buried in horse manure.
I just recalled a book where they predicted the end of humans because wood was the fuel of choice and Europe was running out of it. History they converted to coal, later to oil now to solar, wind, gas, atomic etc etc etc.
There have always been problems. There have always been solutions that yes cause new un-thought of problems.
We all have problems. LIFE IS HOW YOU PLAY THE CARDS YOU ARE DEALT

Another example of women can't be trusted. The men get the blame but women are the instigators. Lock 'em up like the Muslims do, keep them out of trouble. Men, I BET you that the most trouble you've gotten into was over or because of a woman, a woman was involved in your "thinking"...am I right?
It WOULD have been...picture NYC today and instead of millions of cars/buses/trucks, you had horses instead...it WOULD be knee deep in sh!t.
When the worlds population was agrarian, when there were only 1/9th what we have now, when it was 1 billion, not 9 billion. There are just too many people now living in large, dense cities for any "mistakes". Everything is "just in time" now, there are no huge warehouses full of supplies. Everything is grown and made as needed.

Do what everyone does. Point out what's disputable, back up your argument with different sources and make your point. Since that takes effort this is where it will end.

Yup...you're wrong, you're a racist, you're sexist...with NO evidence to back them up. "Just because" parents and liberals favorite response.

Do we REALLY have to list all the flip-flopping by Hillary on such things as gay marriage, abortions, etc? Vote on what they say today and hope they don't change after they are elected. Everyone changes positions on issues.
|
It's because they pander to whatever group they're talking to. Their REAL "position" is what they're told. They say this one day to this group...they say that to that group...sometimes the same day. It's ALL theater, BS, to get votes. To the rich and powerful, the big corporations, it doesn't matter who wins, they "pay" both sides, they'll get what thay want either way.

They have nothing to support their position other then...because it's "right"...because it's "fair". But right or fair for whom?
MAKING something "fair" for one, makes it UNFAIR for the other.
