CNM,

Your experiment (game) is a childish one, but I'll play along. You are a JERK and a STOOGE. Please add those comment to your tally.

Oh, by the way, if you insist on continuing your practice of overusing ellipses in your posts, you could do us the courtesy of using them correctly.

What is the definition of ellipses as pertains to posting?

continued--I tried looking it up but it talking about string together 3 periods.

Term used to describe three periods that are together (...). In English, the ellipsis is often used as an indication to show any omitted word or other text. You'll often see an ellipsis in file names and commands on a computer to indicate the full filename or command is not being displayed. For example, as seen in the picture, a folder could be named "Computer Hope" but displayed as "Compute..." because the file name column is not wide enough to display the full file name.

And you're lying.

I simply give what I get.

In fact, I'll even do a little experiment.

What I will do (for a while), is simply keep track of the personal attacks directed toward me...without responding in kind.

Not that you have the integrity, honesty or ethics to ever admit that I was right, but at least we'll both know...now won't we? <smug emoji inserted here>

Did you mean emoji and not ellipse?

I use ellipsis to make a point or to add emphasis....like this. :D

While it is evident that we have someone who fancies himself some type of grammar policeman/policewoman, I find it hilarious that his/her criticism is never directed at some of the posts from those on the right...who can't even compose a complete sentence.

I guess I will just take that as a compliment, that this particular person waits with baited breath...for every single one of my posts. :1rotfl:

Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't read your posts. When scanning a thread, your posts, and your incorrect usage of the ellipsis (...), stand out like a turd in a punch bowl.:D

I never heard of the "computer" term ellipses until I looked it up. I think the guy that called you a stooge meant emoji. That's what I find funny.

Why do they call it baited breadth? Is it fish halitosis ?

I'll look that up next.

Guest 08-02-2016 11:51 AM

can you folks get back to the topic?

CNM has sure shaken up the comfort levels of those who were used to posting their repetitive spew. Being such a negative lot I think they are starting to enjoy it.

This program has been interrupted, to bring you a totally biased and incorrect grammar lesson.

We now return you to your regular screeching, name-calling and hatred of the next POTUS...Madam Hillary.

This was just a test.

You are wasting people's time. Since this ellipse nonsense has started the nation’s demographics are on a clear trajectory: White people are dying faster than they are being born, which means they are on target to become a minority in the United States in 30 years.

Guest 08-02-2016 12:09 PM

No, I did not mean "emoji", I meant ellipisis (singular) or ellipses (plural), which are denoted by three dots (...) in a sentence.

It seems that CNM cannot write a single sentence without including them - and incorrectly I might add.

Dang it to heck!

Do you really think the right-wingnuts are starting to enjoy being made to look so foolish...and proved wrong with actual facts?

If so, I may have to change my strategery (one of my favorite Shrubisms...:D).

You are stupider than your posts let on. I responded to a post that was not signed "CNM". So, if that post was yours as well, then that can only mean that you are responding to your own posts - pathetic.
