Hillary Clinton - Position on Immigration

Got to get some other positions on immigration than the Donald's up here.

I doubt if any Democratic contender wants illegal immigrants who commit crimes to be kept in the country.

Dear Guest: If you doubt that Democrats want to keep illegal immigrants who committed in this country than please explain SANCTUARY CITIES.

It is inconceivable that any president/congress will move forward with mass deportation. Its a nice thought as a simple solution in the abstract but when it comes to reality it gets really ugly. All threats of deportation is going to do is drive people underground. It is better to offer incentives/opportunities
In my view those who state we have to secure the borders first are right. And then yo know your going to see a mad rush by illegals to get in before the the border is fully secured. One way to deal with that onslaught is to establish a cut off entry date.

Then deal with the illegals aliens who are here now

Voters need to learn the difference between bravado and fact.

Personal Best Regards:

I am very surprised by your post. It was very well written and you, for once, are right on the mark. Keep it up.

We don't need new immigration laws. We need to enforce the ones we have.

Secure the borders
Deport illegals as they are caught by police (ie, traffic stops, etc.)
Arrest and fine anyone hiring illegals.

Simple, and illegal migration will slow to a trickle and finally almost nonexistent.

I keep hearing the liberals and even some Republicans that whine that it is impossible to deport millions of illegals. What would you do if they were captured soldiers of an invading army? Like they used to say in the service "impossible just takes a little longer."

The Republican nominee will need to garner at least 40 percent of the Hispanic vote in order to win in 2016. That is a high mark to hope for considering that Romney got only 23 percent of the Hispanic vote. Trump's outrageous comments are not going to make him popular with Hispanics and that rings true with comments from other candidates as well.

Not true. You are assuming that they might turn out to vote for Hillary. You also are not taking into consideration the Independent vote, which is probably larger than either the Republican or the Democrat vote. You are giving the Hispanics way more credit than truth. Wishful thinking, I suspect.

No where in my post did I mention Clinton. I stated that Romney got only 23 percent Hispanic vote and the GOP needs at least 40 percent of the Hispanic vote to win. These are statistics that have been proven. Check it out in some research and you will learn something.

Because if Clinton is the nominee then how much Hispanic turnout do you think the Democrat party will get? How much black turnout? Your percentage is/was based on a white republican and a black socialist that promised the moon to the Hispanics and gave them nothing. He fooled the Latins twice. Do you think they will be fooled again? Without the turnout, and no having the Independent majority vote, Hilary would not have a chance in a blue moon. It won't matter which Republican candidate is the nominee if the Dem candidate does not have the minority turnout going for them. I doubt there is any Dem candidate that will get the majority Independent vote this time. Independents generally lean to the right of center.
