D.C. is built on a swamp. If they drained it to build, surely they can drain it of slack and corrupt career politicians.

To drain the D.C. swamp they are going to need an awful lot of Septic trucks to pump it out. They would be better off, building the capitol somewhere else and then starting over with gov employment.
