No, it means that thinking people know Twitter is an instant, townhall meeting where voters/constituents can give instant feedback directly to the politicians, without the media slicing and dicing it first. Then all followers of the poster see it in their feed, and can re-tweet it to send it out multiplying exponentially.
Very powerful tool Trump was/is wise to tap into (opposition does, also). The outcry this morning made the GOP establishment rescind the ethics complaint procedures change they thought they could sneak in. THAT is a good example of why you'd be better off using Twitter. Choose the news outlets and personalities or normal posters you'd like to follow, comment on a few tweets, and then retweet some posts and you'll see a far better impact.
You'll also see all news broadcasters' latests stories hours and even days sooner than on the big news-net sites or 24-hour "news" sites. They release stories minute to minute on Twitter. You can participate in spreading and making viral the stories that Drudge, HuffPo and others never publish links for.
