Stated during an interview with Joe Lieberman this morning on MSNBC, he said that he didn't find out (the Palin pick) until he saw it on TV like everyone else. He was the choice McCain wanted until Charlie Black (a lobbyist & head of McCain's Presidential Campaign) adamently opposed this choice and pushed McCain hard on picking Palin, because (according to Black) "the base & Conservatives will be outraged at the Rep.Convention"!!!!!! They had an argument about this and then McCain bended and at the last minute went with Palin. As this new revelation becomes known, it will reveal McCain's character in being easily manipulated for the sake of winning the White House. This shows and exposes his true character of NOT being the "maverick" that he so falsely claims he is and he is like most politicians that are only interested in their own self interest and NOT the country as a whole. Why would McCain who has been running on his claimed expert on foreign affairs choose someone like Palin over Joe Lieberman?? She only got a passport last year, there's alot more to come out about this woman and the judgement of McCain....

If McCain picked Lieberman for VP there would be two Democrats on the Republican ticket instead of just one.

So here is his open minded tolerant view of the world. Dick Cheney is really the president and GW is his puppet. That Cheney started the war against terrorism, Enriches his friends, subverts the constition. I'm sure he thinks we didn't land on the moon and that Bush flew the planes into the WTC too.

McCain did not pick Lieberman because of his pro baby killing (Abortion) stance. It's as simple as that.
