Good news. The vote in congress to override the president's veto will be taken this week, so by week's end the Keystone pipeline should be under construction.

Once again, just tiny bits of the talk were incorrect while the general content was correct.

Instead of no USA product moving through the pipeline - maybe up to 10 percent- most, not all, of the refined product will be shipped overseas.

Remember that Canadian oil is still imported from a foreign country when it comes to the US.

The bill was vetoed and does not have the 2/3 of both Houses to override the veto.

Keystone and other such projects need to be undertaken if for no other reason than safety. States like North Dakota have proven to be great energy producers and that fact was the single reason why people are experiencing lower gasoline bills. However North Dakota and other energy producing states had to labor unnecessarily trying to get their product to market using railroad.

So what does Obama do kow tow to rich environmentalist who if they were honest would admit that fracking is not a problem is good for our GDP employment etc and by piping through lines we have a safer more efficient process

Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler explained Monday that while the crude oil would travel to the Gulf Coast, it would then be refined into products like gasoline -- and much of it certainly would be used in the U.S.

In Iraq 50% of that oil goes to China. Perhaps the extra oil from Canada passing through the XL pipeline could be refined in the U.S. and sold to our most favored trading partner. The Peoples Republic of China.

back to the issue of Obama not telling the truth. It is his lawyer background and what ever else is there that is what he relies upon for basis in any actions.

Being legally trained he has only one way to look at any subject. What do I have to do or say to make the outcome be what he wants it to be. Use, abuse or hiding behind the letter of the law to his advantage.

A simple example. He can be asked if he has addressed the elimination of waste in government. He can, according to the law stae emphatically that he has. All he has had to do was make a speech about it and he, in his mind has fulfilled the obligation of addressing the subject.

Unfortunately the lawyer background is in my opinion a negative. When they represent a client who has killed someone, their job is to convince the jury first of all that they either did not do it, or create reasonable (or not) doubt or worst of all why their client is the real victim.

So yes he does lie. Yes he is focused on only accomplishing one end. The furthering of his agenda.....whether we the people like it or not. And he is proving by his actions every day he will do whatever it takes to keep his agenda on track.

Sadly, the senate did not have the votes to override the president's veto, when the vote was taken this past Wednesday.

IMO: congress will keep passing the law, and the president will keep vetoing it. Until enough minds are changed, nothing happens.

Obama and his people have absolutely no reason not to gree to Keystone, except it doesn't fit in their environmental vision. Aloowing oil to flow safely through a pipeline and preventing the continue railroad accidents would seem enough reason to do so and it is environmentally better.

But forget this shameless display. On the horizon is a much bigger and a much more dangerous lie committed by Obama.

The bin Laden episode was twofold to capture/kill bin Laden and to secure as much data as could be found. Both goals were successful.

Obama in his bid for 2012 presidential run wanted to spin his leadership prowess in foreign policy and defense. He claimed terrorist defeat and the wars over with a big "I" did this. The problem was he intentionally withheld documents showing the increasing threat in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. doing nothing to stem such activity places American in harms way. This narcissistic incompetent blowhard did nothing to protect American citizens so he could put his faux best foot forward . A leader sets the culture of those he leads now you know the why and the where of all the scandals coming out of Washington Fast & furious IRS Benghazi . And you will also notice that the Obama's best two weapons are stalling tactics and the liberal media . Never in my lifetime have I witnessed a more dishonest, deceptive manipulative, shameless and irresponsible Administration then the one being led by Obama.

I bow my head in sorrow, despair and shame because like the burglaries in The Villages he is doing it in broad daylight and with no consequences and worse yet with the approval of either dishonest, disinterested or misguided citizens.
