I tried to get a straw for my soda the other day, but the server said they were all gone.
The two candidates supporters on TOTV Political were so short of insults, they were using the last straws..

Straws will soon be banned as they are not good for the environment as will ice at eateries . Making ice uses up energy and producing energy harms the environment .

I understand that pretty soon law enforcement will be required to carry "fart" detectors and test folks at random to see if they are polluting the environment. Anyone found to be leaving gaseous odors will be subject to fine or imprisonment, or both. Politicians will receive amnesty because the detector will not be able to differentiate whether the gas is coming from the mouth or below. This is a Obama/Gore proposal to lower greenhouse gases and protect the environment.
