Sounds like something I studied in High School....in 1936 someone came to power in Europe...

Yeah, I studied that, too. His name was N. Chamberlain. (I understand that isn't what you were referring to. I thought I'd twist your point a little. ::)

"Chamberlain's legacy is marked by his appeasement policy regarding his signing of the Munich Agreement in 1938, conceding part of Czechoslovakia to German dictator Adolf Hitler. In the same year he also ceded the Irish Free State Royal Navy ports."

The similarity with folks who have their head in the sand about the insidiousness of Islam is not recognizing and acting on a known threat and ridiculing anyone who attempts to bring the seriousness of the threat to the attention of the public.

Merely expressing these concerns has little resemblance to Hitler's fascism as some distort. It sounds like those who are critical of such expression of concern would like to stifle free and legitimate expression - becoming more like those they accuse others of being. They become both Hitleresque and Chamberlainesque.

Oh get off the religion. I agree -we are all in the same world with the the same God or whatever. Bring up your arguments to at least a 10th grade level!!!
Yes , TV is very Republican. Yes, most people think Bush has done a bad job. Yes, our country is very split between Democrats and Republicans. Both parties will spin so their candidates will win. Just don't put crap on this board. The religion question is crap.

The only thing I would like to point out is....Radical Islam is a threat to the entire world. Anything, including religion, taken to an extreme is not good. My point about the Jews was, in those years, only that anyone with a Jewish mother was therefore a Jew.

Which I believe always was and remains today Jewish law.

From Judaism 101: Who is a Jew? A Jew is any person whose mother was a Jew or any person who has gone through the formal process of conversion to Judaism.

Why are Muslims allowed to enter this country if they are so radical and hated?

Not all Muslims are radical. Except I do dislike the women covering their hair..It makes me think they are not as respected, but I am very ignorant of the Islamic faith.

I remember when JFK ran for president that rumors ran rampant about the Pope having him in his control.

Why am I here posting in this political forum? :dontknow: I must have lost my mind.

Don't let me back in here. Or ignore me.

Very true.* Not all Muslims are radical.* Maybe only 5 or 10% are???* Hmmm, that would be, out of over 1 billion Muslims, only 50 to 100 million?* And how many of those "radicals" are in our country or plotting against it?*

Could you imagine the outcry against Christians if 10% of us were abortion clinic bombers?* Right now that percentage is probably closer to 0.00001% and those radicals still give us a bad name.

I agree anything taken to an extreme is never good.

I just noticed that you lived in Manassas, Va....did you know the State Senator Chuck Colgan? One of the few Pro-life Democrats..he stood up to the party and refused to vote Pro Choice.
