Why are we talking to these people ? What in the world makes us believe them based on history.

These negotiations are tearing up the strong ties we used to have with Israel, by the way the country that Iran STILL TO THIS DAY PROFESSES THEY WILL DESTROY, it is causing such bad feelings between our own political parties in Washington, when we were told very clearly by our President, he would step up and talk to the other side.

Iran scares me. They say what they are going to do...the say how they hate and we still talk to them.

"(Reuters) - Iran's foreign minister has warned the United States that failure to agree a nuclear deal would likely herald the political demise of pragmatist President Hassan Rouhani, Iranian officials said, raising the stakes as the decade-old stand-off nears its end-game.

Mohammad Javad Zarif pressed the concern with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry at several meetings in recent weeks, according to three senior Iranian officials, who said Iran had also raised the issue with other Western powers. Zarif's warning has not been previously reported.

In a statement posted on the Iranian Foreign Ministry's website, Zarif later denied discussing domestic issues with Western officials.

Western officials acknowledged the move may be just a negotiating tactic to persuade them to give more ground, but said they shared the view that Rouhani's political clout would be heavily damaged by the failure of talks.

The warning that a breakdown in talks would empower Iran's conservative hardliners comes as the 12-year-old stand-off reaches a crucial phase, with a March deadline to reach a political agreement ahead of a final deal by June 30.

We did not even speak to these people before and now we are putting our present and future friendship with Israel on the line and in a way, Israel's future.

Why there is so much opposition to having more sanctions available is well beyond my pay grade. If we are afraid to offend them, they sure do not care.

There are three essential question that need to be asked and answered to assess the efficacy of any deal:

1. Will economic sanctions really immediately return if Iran cheats?

2. What is the precise inspections systems to ensure Iran's compliance?

3. How much do you think Iran will really change in the next 15 years?

2. they don't exist ... Obama and Iran each define it differently and for now, it's essentially smoke to get Congress off his back

3. Short of overthrowing the revolutionary Radical Islamic regime, the only change will be it gets worse ...ie more militant and dangerous to the US and the region.
