Given the number of illegal immigrants in the country, and the length of time they probably have been here, the current immigration law needs to be changed. Enforcing the law as written deporting millions of illegals is not practical.

The House should have acted on the bipartisan Senate bill. By not acting, they have done nothing but prolonged the inevitable. If they didn't act upon the bill because who is president, that is inexcusable.

Better get the gap gauge out for those synapses.

big discussion now going on about this "agreement" actually being a treaty, since it involves intercontinental ballistic missiles aimed at us, and Rep. Louis Gommert trying to get it constitutionally voted on as a treaty, which would involve a 2/3 vote of the senate to approve...this is our last hope to stop this dreadful deal. call your senators and congressmen on tuesday!

I think that's because you genuinely don't understand the points being made .... in a nutshell, immigration stops totally once there is no perceived advantage in leaving your typical 3rd world hell hole and sneaking across the border to the land of endless welfare checks in exchange for voting Democrat. In other words, once the Democrats succeed in truning America into just another 3rd world hellhole, no one will want to come here.
