It appears not many people care, however it continues....
"At first glance it looks like the set of a James Bond movie -- a seemingly impregnable mountain base packed full of uniformed men and sinister-looking missiles on their launch vehicles parked along a long tunnel buried deep underground. But this is in fact a real-life missile facility in Iran, according to the country's semi-official FARS news agency." "Iran is completely overhauling its missile technology, replacing the current stockpile with newer weapons, a senior general told state media. "As of next year, a new and advanced generation of long-range liquid and solid fuel missiles will replace the current products," said Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh. "The missiles in various ranges are mounted on the launchers in all bases and (are) ready to be launched." Iran airs images of underground missile facilities - CNN.com The pictures in this link are impressive to say the least, but no big deal, right ? |
We should just nuke Iran and be done with it. Liberals would be happy because they wouldn't have to get their hands dirty in the trenches. Eventually, we will have to bomb them. Might as well do it now.

I realize most on this forum prefer to talk about people and simply gossip.
I apologize for the boring posts, but thought folks should know this..... "The nuclear deal between world powers and Iran comes into effect Sunday, beginning a series of steps to be undertaken by both parties to curb Iran's nuclear activities in return for lifting economic sanctions. The accord was reached in July following two years of negotiations between Iran and the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany. Sunday marks 90 days since the United Nations Security Council approved the agreement. "So adoption day is a calendar-driven event and it’s the day at which all the parties begin to take the steps they need to make sure they take to get to implementation day," said State Department spokesman John Kirby. "And we’re not at implementation day; that’s a whole different purpose." No date is set for implementation day. "Under the deal, Iran must submit formal answers to questions from the United Nations nuclear watchdog agency about suspected past nuclear weapons research. President Obama must issue waivers to suspend nuclear-related U.S. sanctions on Iran, and the European Union must begin the process of terminating its sanctions on Iran." Nuke deal between Iran and world powers takes effect "The U.N. Security Council passed a resolution codifying the nuclear agreement on July 20. Last Sunday, Iran announced it test fired a long-range precision-guided ballistic missile even though such tests appear to be banned under the Security Council resolution. Speaking Friday, President Obama said the firing of the missile would not derail the nuclear agreement." |

EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN SHOULD BE UPSET AT THIS.
IT IS COVERED MUCH LESS, IF AT ALL , THAN THE CONDITION OF LAMARR ODOM. "Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), stalwart critic of the Iran deal, deserves to say “I told you so.” He had suggested that sanctions would be lifted even without revealing the possible military dimensions of Iran’s program, that the inspection process (including self-selected samples) was nonsensical and that we would embolden Iran in the region to, among other things, further boost characters like Bashar al-Assad. Right on all counts. On Monday he wrote to Secretary of State John Kerry: "The recent test launch of a precision-guided, long-range ballistic missile by Iran was a violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1929, and I appreciate public statements from both the White House and the Department of State memorializing this fact. As we discussed during your July 23 appearance before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (SFRC), UNSCR 1929 stipulates that Iran cannot presently engage in activities related to ballistic missiles. But, with the October 11 launch, Iran has done so – on several levels – whether it is through research, development, planning, concealing or launching this reportedly new technology. And as some of my colleagues on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee have pointed out in separate correspondence to you, Iran’s violations of UNSCR 1929 have become common. The Iranian regime is drawing a line in the sand that demonstrates with malice that it will only selectively meet its obligations with respect to internationally sanctioned weapons programs. What meaningful steps will the Administration take to respond to the latest Iranian provocations?" https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...again-on-iran/ NOW...... "I suspect Kerry will do nothing, but the question is whether Democrats will once again accede to the president. It is important to understand how we got here — and to understand Democrats’ complicity in a policy of appeasement. " "If the administration does not enforce UNSCR 1929, the resolution that explicitly forbids the recent missile test, this will only embolden the regime that it can act with absolute impunity. It is long past the time for the administration to show resolve that violations have real consequence.” |
No surprise whatsoever!
The Iranians are proceeding as planned. Obama will do nothing as expected.....by the Iranians. Appeasement just doesn't seem adequate to describe Obama's actions.....agenda accomplishment! |
They only respect power, so nuke them.

In this case, the beginning of a HUGE gamble on our part, it does not seem that we can afford to allow and permit. The results of allowing this deal to go south could become a disaster. I am shocked. To my knowledge, and I will stand corrected if I am wrong, we have not even issued a condemnation statement on this. |

It is so obvious that Barry and Kerry are incompetent and in the pocket of the (laughing) Iranians. |
This may serve as warnings for those Democrats taking "victory laps"
This article speaks to the recent Iran launch of intercontinental Ballistic Missles. "a group of Senate Democrats responded with a letter to Secretary of State John F. Kerry denouncing Iran’s move as a violation of U.N. Security Council Resolution 1929 and calling for “unilateral and multilateral responses.” "“There must be no ambiguity in our willingness to enforce Iran’s obligations under UN resolutions and the JCPOA,” said the Oct. 21 letter signed by 11 Democratic senators. Only two of those — Sens. Benjamin L. Cardin of Maryland and Charles E. Schumer of New York — voted against the deal. The episode exemplifies a worst-case scenario for Democrats as they head into next year’s election, namely that Iran will give Republicans ample “I-told-you-so” opportunities by breaking the agreement, violating other international sanctions or keeping the issue in the public eye with recurring acts of aggression or anti-U.S. rhetoric. Iranian aggression since Obama nuclear deal looms as 2016 headache for Democrats - Washington Times Only two of those voted against which means already the voting Dems are weakening. Anyway, should be an issue for the debates between the two candidates next fall. |
Obviously this is not near as important as what Ben Carson may have said, but just an opinion....
"President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry were convinced their one-sided nuclear deal would lead to better relations with Iran, but it’s already doing the reverse. Tehran has taken two more Americans hostage just this month — and followed up with a massive cyberattack on the US government, especially the State Department’s Office of Iranian Affairs. The kicker: Iran is holding the nuke deal hostage — threatening to junk it if Obama tries to punish the country for its fresh outrages. Wake up and smell the coffee, guys. When they seized one of the new hostages, the Iranians also grabbed his computer and forced him to unlock it. That allowed the Revolutionary Guard to launch what The Wall Street Journal reports is a massive cyberattack. And, of course, the new hostages — charged with spying, natch — join three other American citizens already held." Obama held hostage: How Iran’s using the nuke deal as license to go wild | New York Post |
Another typical ignorant liberal idea that you can reason with radicals. Where do we get these idiots?
|
I have a serious question for the Democratic/progressive/liberal posters who post routinely and often to denegrate anyone who happens to be Republican.
You never post on ANY thread involving our country and foreign affairs, no matter what. Actually, the same would apply to domestic affairs UNLESS it has to do with race. What does that indicate ? |
Iran is holding AMERICAN hostages and continues to take them.
Yet, we are lifting the sanctions from them. Does not seem to be important based on this forum and the MSM, so let's get back to the important news of the day......what did Ben Carson say ? |

It had to do with the IGNORING TOTALLY any post on foreign affairs or domestic unless race is involved. I understand the give and take.....I do not understand how NO liberals seem to have an opinion on foreign affairs or domestic affairs (unless race or gender is involved). No posts on those issues; It either comes down to, on foreign affairs, something about Bush or on domestic affairs how racist and bigoted the Republican party is. Are we to actually assume, as one example, that every single poster on this forum that is progressive thinks the Iran deal is great ? Even though even many of their own elected officials and over 60 percent of fellow americans do not think that ? Have they no opinion on Syria and the use of chemical gas on kids, the years of slaughter going on there or the refugee problem ? The only mention of minimum wage by a progressive was AFTER Ms Clinton came out in support and even on those posts, they are not clear whether they are for FEDERAL or state, because she did not make it clear I suppose. You cant change this thread from its purpose. I understand what you are saying and ask that if I can listen and understand, that you try and do the same. |

I do NOT respect Liberalism/socialism. I believe that it is dangerous to American freedom. I have nothing against liberals or socialists. I just feel that they are very ignorant, following an ideology that they do not understand. If finding liberals ignorant is considered not respecting them, then OK, you got me. And, I don't seek your respect. I am a patriot, that believes in the future of America. Liberals seem to be lazy and look to what the gov can give to them TODAY. They have no problems with others fighting wars for them, paying taxes for them and serving them. They have no humility and will accept charity willingly, often demanding it. If a conservative doesn't like something, a movie, TV show, religion, guns, etc. they will not purchase it, change the channel, or not go to church. If a liberal doesn't like something...anything....they want it banned. |

I have become very leary of global liberal elitist that promote internationalism because I suspect their aim is to destroy a nation's borders. Once you have a world without borders its people lose their individualism, their identity, their culture, their nationalism. Global elitist can then rule can from afar and people without borders are so much easier to control and exploit. If you step back a bit isn't that what happened with the European Union when they created city states.
The George Soros's of the world want to dominate and so they sow the progressive elitist propaganda and progressives as useful idiots buy into this utopian dream That's why America needs to protect its Article of Freedoms..Declaration of Independence, U S Constitution and Bill of Rights. Every time an individual tries to violate or ignore the Constitution it is a threat to our very existence. Its why I favor Justice Scalia, Justice Thomas. When a group peddles separation of church and state and uses that to demand that "In God We Trust"be removed or a depiction of the Ten Commandments or the Confederate Flag they are attempting to strip us of our heritage, our identification and in the process us divide us. They would argue that it is offensive but that is a ruse its all about gaining control and what better way than pitting Americans against one another. Progressive use collectivism to advance their agenda, an agenda that artificially promotes social-economic-gender neutral classes that are transforming this nation into nothingness. Conservatives respond as individuals. We are losing our individualism and once we lose our individualism we lost our national identity. Be wary of gun control, gender-neutral initiatives, immigration issues that do not secure our borders, claims of internationalism, sea treaties and the like because they are all aimed at disintegrating this nation . We need leaders who are not afraid to defend this nation against foreign or domestic enemies, preserve our exceptionalism, our right to express our personal and religious beliefs. In order to do that the first thing every American needs to do is to learn to read in between the lines when these elitist begin spouting off their platitudes Personal Best Regards: |
Someone, please, at least make an attempt to explain this to me.
We signed a deal with Iran, so unpopular congress had to be bypassed with manipulation, and all polls show it was terrible. Then, Iran has fired, not one but TWO ICBM misses in violation of that treaty, and the United Nations. Nothing much said about it. Now, recently US congress passed new immigration laws which cut off visa waivers for people who recently visited certain, specifically named countries. Iran complained, and Sec'y Kerry informed them that our President will be glad to waive those rules for them. Republicans blast Kerry for suggesting Iran could skirt new visa rules | Fox News If your gut tells you to say...oh, its Fox reporting....then stop and think how important this story is and ask WHY nobody is talking about it. The story has great credits by the way as it has been brought up in congress. So, tell me.....they, whomever they are, say TERRORISM is our biggest issue. Iran is renowned as the largest single state to outright terrorism. Ink is not dry on this terribly misguided deal, and Iran is firing missles that are forbidden by another agreement, and we are going to cut them a break on visas. Please, somebody explain this logic, and tell me why nobody is upset. Is Trump that important to cover ? |
They also are holding USA citizens in Iran !!!!
This post and thread reminds of many others on issues that are so important to the country. Those who have been on here calling for issues....this is a HUGE issue. But, no body will take the time. Better to call each other and each others political position silly names or talk about Trump. WE are indeed responsible for our leadership....they DO play to our concerns, which apparently are more on what Trump or Clinton call each other. This is a primary...a time to find out in general terms where the candidates stand, how "presidential" they are, do they have leadership skills. BUT we ignore and when the $%^& hits the fan, we will blame these same people we spend time applauding instead of discussing what this country has to do. |

I agree that this Iran deal is a big thing. But, the Iran deal is Foreign policy, not that much politics even if everyone wants to make it political. We can only beat a dead horse so much, and Iran is a done deal. I hate the deal and consider Kerry and Barry to be big failures and close to being treacherous when it comes to what they compromised to get this stupid deal. To leave Americans behind just to get a notch on their political guns is despicable. To allow Iran so much slack and not backing up threats is also dangerous. On top of that, they view us as weak. And the cherry on the top of this is Iran getting their money back and the sanctions lifted. Obama and Kerry should be lynched for such treachery. |
