Yes, it IS refreshing to be able to utilize the first amendment, isn't it? I believe "hatred" is a bit extreme though. Perhaps your socialist friends have not come up with a more PC term for disliking a politician's ideology and policies?

The one thing I've been so proud of in my life is being born an American and knowing that MOST of the world idolizes but sometimes depends on us for their very survival..Long ago our great Nation CHOSE to be the Peace Keepers and defenders of Freedom for ALL of Gods people especially for those that cannot defend themselves..I understand that just because we can doesn't always mean we should BUT how can we in good conscience just up and pull the rug out from under these millions of Christians, especially the women and children with the excuse of, "sorry" it's not our fight..If I see a bully beating up on a women or child in Lake Sumter I am NOT going to say, sorry I'm from Brownwood this is none of my business..I know sounds silly but I think it's the same thing just on a much larger scale.. This administration seems to want to kick the can down the road and let the next President deal with it and I understand when he says we're war weary and he does NOT want to send 1000's of men and women to a hostile land to fight another war.. Our great Country leads by example and strength and there's no doubt in my mind that we have 10's of thousands of soldiers that are MORE than willing to grab a rifle climb up on that wall and defend freedom for all the world without being ordered to do so..I also believe if we do this our allies will join us on that wall.. I remember hearing as a boy when they sang, from the Halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, we fight our Country's battles in the air, on land, and sea. First to fight for right and freedom and to keep our honor clean, we are proud to claim the title, of United States Marine.. I still get chills when I hear that song and though I was never a soldier it still makes me PROUD to be an a American, fit, free and honored to be able to say thank you to ALL our great defenders past AND present....Thank You.

Life must be very challenging when ones only view is any opposition or disagreement is hate and vitreol.

Actually quite sad.

Also sad is the fact that our country totally and knowingly turned our back on the murder and gassing go totally innocent Syrian citizens, ignoring gassing of small children in the streets.

Actually our President spoke of this terrible thing and "drew a red line" and did nothing, but turn his back on those people.

Now he wants to put us on some sort of guilt trip and embrace those people knowing this refugee situation exists ONLY because of his inaction, and ISIS has grown and threats have grown as a result of his inaction.

I try to reconcile just this fact, and it does not compute

I agree and wish that someday those who disagree with any criticism of our President would present some concrete support for his policies instead of simple name calling.

WHY do you support the President ? WHY do you defend him against what american citizens are saying and feeling ?

This President needs to go. He is not doing his no 1 job of protecting us Americans. He is endangering you, your kids etc by allowing this influx of refugees to continue. Prepare , another attack in the U.S. is coming as long as this incompetent one is in office. He is the absolute worst President in history. He should step down and let someone with leadership skills take over.

I am sure the citizens of Paris appreciated his insensitive comments by calling the Paris atrocities as a "set back".

I look forward to the Europeans shaming him as they go on the aggressive side of rooting out those RADICAL ISLAMISTS. The words that Barry, Kerry and Clinton refuse to utter!

In line with American way, I have no problem with Syrian refugees. But then, I understand the difference between them and ISIS Terorists. Remember that Muslims hate ISIS as much as you and I.

Why did we not have that heart two years ago when the opportunity was there, when Assad was gassing the kids...we drew a red line.

Russia was not there..Iran was not there.....we turned our back then.

What makes this different except it is easier. Hard to tell the parents of the children that were gassed, we could not save them.

I wonder, actually I don't because I know, if the WH will work and cooperate with the states concerned ?

It just gets to me that we say now "slamming the door in their faces would be a betrayal of our values" after we have ignored their cries for help for over 3 years"

I also wonder, based on past track record, if the WH will ever advise the states, and for that matter, all American citizens how they are vetting.

We already know that the WH sent some to Louisiana WITHOUT EVER ADVISING THEM..

Trust is a big issue now. Do we trust the WH who is silent....and will not and hasn't discussed other immigration concerns.

The President said that the attacks in France were simply a setback, so do not expect him to contact Governors or talk to the American people.
