In a very short time Joe Biden has taken the title of "Dumbest VP" away from Dan Quale.

Default Say What You Will...

...about Joe Biden. My sister lives about 1/4 mile from Biden in Wilmington. He is beloved by Delaware residents for his honesty, his candor, his connection with common residents. He is welcomed into their homes as they are into his. Those stories about his commute home most nights on Amtrak to see his boys aren't just stories. On most Friday nights, Biden held court in a local pizzeria, interacting with residents, listening to their concerns and explaining what was going on in Washington and around the world.

We could do a lot worse than to have someone like Joe Biden in a leadership position in our government. In fact, we did have worse for the last eight years, with a devious, self-possessed, even disloyal Vice President that managed to accomplish many things that none of us can be proud of. Some say that he kept the country safe. Safe from whom? The mortal enemies he created by leading the country into war on false pretenses?

No, I'll stick with Joe Biden, even with his occasional gaffes.

If you want to read a shocking article, now a book called "The Angler", navigate to http://blog.washingtonpost.com/cheney/

I'll take Cheney any day over Biden. As for Quayle, he wasn't that dumb. If he had been a Democrat the media would have loved him.

Come on VK, "connection with common resident", This is a man who invited Sarah Palin to come to Wilmington, Delaware and join him for breakfast at his favorite restaurant, Katie’s on Union Street, for breakfast. Not only was Katie’s never located on Union Street; it has been closed for twenty years. If this is his 'favorite', then why should anyone believe anything he says? He is far too dishonest in little things to be trusted with big things. It's not just gaffes, it's lies.

Comman sense is something Biden does NOT have.
