Anybody who is willing to throw more than a few thousand dollars at a candidate wants something, and the more money, the more they want.

Hope & Change??
 

When B.O. first used the phrase "Hope & Change", I kept waiting for a punch line of sorts. Hope to do what? Change to what? Neither word was ever explained, yet people voted for him...yep hoping to accomplish something or other...changing to, um...well he didn't say...until about three weeks after the election he promised to fundamentally change America. A phrase he recently reitereated.
As I remember, our fundamentals are Christian, all men are created equal, life liberty & the pursuit of happiness. So, if he changes the fundamentals, Christian will change to...something less than Christian? Equality of men will be changed to...inequality? Life, liberty, pursuit of happiness to???
He talks a lot, says little, accomplishes even less. Yes, he bailed out GM. A few weeks ago GM announced that next year 7 out of 10 GM cars will be built in China...it was their media announcement, not mine. So in essence, we the taxpayer paid to finish the plants in China. On a side note, how much cash did GM give B.O. towards his re-election?

I'm not sure who's side you are on. True, B.O. held a town meeting to raise funds for his campaign, true he did answer questions, insulting every small business man with his replies, even Steve Jobs, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates...and the person who started Talk of the Villages. If it wasn't for an individual taking the chance on building a business, there would be no jobs...you wouldn't be retired and enjoying the Villages.
B.O. never ran a business, never had to hire or fire. His experience is nill.
But let's look at what he is really saying, it does have some merit. I think you will agree that he is saying that no business is built by one man. A business is dependent on investors, even if just a bank loan, employees to man the business, mentors or advisers to grow the business...do we agree?
But then he also says: "I killed Bin Laden"...his quote, not mine. Didn't he have a team of advisers, the Pentagon & leaders of Congress encourage him? Didn't our countrymen, Seal team 6 in particular, full fill the mission? Yet he claimed "I killed Bin Laden". So, on the one hand he says a business man cannot claim to have built a business by himself...but he Obama, "Killed Bin Laden". Look at this personality, do you really want him as president?
