The best solution is to put volunteer snipers along the border and have them "repel' the "invaders." I bet there would be no shortage of volunteers. Perhaps the USO could provide coffee and donuts, and the Red Cross would supply some sandwiches. When we go to the Caribbean, to sail, (bareboating)l as we arrive, we have to show a return air ticket, we have to show a hotel voucher and we have to show the contract for the boat, the duration, and get this,,,,,,,,,,,,, as we sail thru or from the US Virgin Islands, to Dutch control or French control, we have to check in at each of their customs and Immigration offices. This is the control by other countries that have firm laws on immigration and smuggling etc. Go to any big airport, such as LAX for example and see the long lines of non Americans being passed through on a whim.
By that I mean, we saw it first hand, even talking to one Asian person, he said it is a snap, no problem, just a show by Immigration and Customs. Saw it first hand, several times so take this from us, it is real. It comes down to do you value your country? Sorry, that is it.
If we have the open borders concept, hordes of persons piling in to get the free handouts, then what do you have someday when the working persons leave and you only have the free loaders? How about just inviting a few of them into your home, free room and board, go ahead, be a good sport, be generous and be really LIBERAL.
