It all depends....

That's like comparing apples to toilet seats.

There is a huge difference between free trade among private companies in different nations...and a nations government meddling in other nations affairs.

It all depends on the "private companies" and the "governments" because there are many companies that are owned either wholly or partially by governments and act as "fronts" to secure both industrial and governmental information and secrets......

I understand and agree...to a point.

The issue being however, is that he/she tried to equate 'global economy'...with interference by another nation's government.

They're not even remotely, not even in Trump's alternative universe...similar.

One is 'commerce'..the other is 'espionage.'

A quick shout out to the thread originator...for nailing it!

Without a doubt, the title of the thread should have been Chump's campaign rallying cry...and fits everything he's done to date. :ohdear:

Hillary would have had it done by now, with her famous "reset button." :1rotfl:

It makes perfect sense that Russia put Trump in power so he could rebuild our military and modernize our nuclear arsenal.

Not even close.

IF they were in cahoots, and lots of "smoke" but we sure don't know if true.

We do know they tried to swing the election.

If you are looking for a reason, look simply at Ukraine, etc..their borders and how NATO is the only thing contains them from doing what they want. for me, that's the only reason.

Nuke war is a done deal...meaning that has little meaning in today's world.

Hell, with proper computer strength, they could just shut us down. The world has changed

The other reason on this side would simply to benefit Trump.

Reiver 03-10-2017 09:58 PM

The Russians did not try to swing the election. They want to destabilize the US. They tried to hack everyone. One party had security systems in place. The other opened clickbait emails, had the password "password" and no security to speak of.

I guess they need an "enemy" too to justify the military spending they're doing.

You don't KNOW any of that...you KNOW what someone decided to tell you...which often ISN'T the whole truth.

Several air bursts and the country is paralyzed. We could retaliate...and then EVERYONE is screwed. They KNOW this. I've heard the REAL nuclear deterrent is the nuking of the poles. That's what the "dead man" switch connects to. A "f@ck the world" last volley to the poles. Greenland and the Antarctic. Melt the ice and drown EVERYONE. EVERY major city would drown from the 50ft ocean rise the melted water would cause. The Great Flood...destroying arrogant mankind.

Yeah, that'll happen...

Because "Peter" said so? "Peter" wrote that...just plain Peter.

I'm not saying it's true...I'm telling you I heard it way back. The plan was to as a last action...nuke the poles, raise the sea level, flood just about every major city. Flooding out a lot of the worlds population. 20ft? 30ft? How much must it rise to effectively end the world economy?

Spicer commits a felony in front of the press

1 Attachment(s)
WASHINGTON – White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer was in the middle of his daily press briefing Thursday when an aide handed him a note that said, “You just committed a felony,” according to a senior White House official with knowledge of the note’s contents.

Spicer paused briefly after reading the note, then cleared his throat and continued with the briefing, taking a question from Jonathan Karl of ABC News.

The alleged felony the note referred to apparently centers around Spicer’s remarks during the briefing about an alleged Justice Department investigation into ties between President Trump, his campaign team and officials representing the Russian government. Spicer said the investigators have, “no evidence, zero.”

“I’m telling you they have nothing,” Spicer said in response to a question from Hallie Jackson of NBC News. The briefing was recorded and broadcast on several different networks and news sites. “I’ve seen what they have, I got hold of it, and they have nothing. They should quit while they’re ahead.”

It is illegal for a White House official to try to influence an investigation by the FBI or the Justice Department itself. It is unclear whether the investigation Spicer was referring to is happening on behalf of the FBI or the Justice Department itself, which has jurisdiction over the FBI.

No matter the specific agency in charge of the investigation, any investigation of the type that Spicer was apparently referring to is supposed to be conducted free of any White House influence. If Spicer did, in fact, ask for, and ultimately procure any information on an investigation into President Trump, he may well have broken the law simply by doing so. On top of that issue, there is the fact that he publicized the investigation, which is also against the law, as any such investigation is considered classified.

It is unclear which Spicer aide handed him the note, but according to the White House official we spoke to, the entire White House communications team was in shock when they heard Spicer admit communicating with the Justice Department official from the podium in the Brady Briefing Room of the White House.

“They were all blown away,” the official said. “I mean, they know he’s not the brightest bulb, but they didn’t think he was quite that dumb.”Attachment 66659

Truth be told, in the grand scheme of things...this isn't all that big of a deal.

After all, with the other felonies already perpetrated by this administration...what's one more? :ohdear:

You are behind the learning curve. The felonies were perpetrated by the last administration. Hillary is a great example of a felon, with Obama culpable in his attempt to cover for her.

But, I did not expect much from you. You just make statements without any facts to back you up. Whereas, Hillary even admitted under oath to the felonies that she perpetrated. Felonies that the stupid government were too ignorant to indict her for. And before you ask me for proof, I have listed the laws that she has violated on many past posts. So, if you still need enlightenment, go back and look at the older posts. I know you won't, because you are just a resident TROLL. And I use "resident" only in the sense that you reside on this forum.

Once again, you obfuscate, lie and try to misdirect.

Not to worry though, the intelligent people on this site...have long ago figured you out.

Sucks to be you. ;)
