So back to the topic. Liberals are well illiberal. At universities free speech is not free unless faculty and/or students say it is and if your a conservative its never going to be free speech. heck the illiberal liberals are beginning to eat their own with Scripps college protest of Madeleine Albright selection as a speaker.

The illiberals of today are radical egalitarians and use legal means and shaming to coerce those they disagree with. This undermines the rule of law. The totalitarian tactics used by illiberals must be met with resistance

Liberalism today is an oxymoron. And Progressive is just an antonym, because there is nothing progressive about socialism. And Democrats are socialists, not progressives or liberals. The only thing liberal about them is liberally spending other peoples' money. Bernie is honest about it, even if he IS a loonie. And he actually has found a group of young people that have no concept of what their parents and grandparents have fought against for decades, socialism and communism. But now, Democrats are starting to embrace socialism going far left from the Democratic ideology. And to fight the weight or to apply ballast to even the keel, Republicans are now the Democratic party of my father. Anyone right of middle is considered a right wing radical today. In reality, they are not right at all. They are just center. This country is steering or limping using no right wheel, just making turns by using the left lean and the middle. Socialism used to be a curse word, but is now a badge that is worn proudly by the ignorant. Giving Bernie any credibility is ludicrous. The old pervert cruised around for his first forty years without a full-time job, living off of poorly written porno. And that is the reason he feels that everyone should share the wealth.....because he is lazy.

Liberals are political bullies right now. In a real face off, they are cowards. They have the voice or microphone right now and that gives them a sense of power. But, the truth is that conservatives can live without them, but they can't live without conservatives. They are takers and when we refuse to give, they attempt to force it using the media and the power of the gov to enforce their theft. Like all bullies, they will run and hide under their beds, or rocks as the case may be when the power shifts to the right, or today's middle. That is why they are so desperate to keep that power, and force more wealth from the rich.

As obnoxious and loud mouthed as Trump is, he will get my vote. Anything to keep the Clintons out of the White House. Nope, the spawn of Satan can go right back to H3ll where she belongs. I have really looked to find a positive that I could contribute to Chillary, but I have not been able to find one good attribute to attach to her. She tips the negative scale to the point that no amount of negatives from Trump could balance it.

If an egalitarian is someone who believes in the principle that all people are equal and deserve equal rights and opportunities what does a radical egalitarian believe?

That is a misconception. The facts prove that ALL people are NOT equal, therefore the whole premise is moot. Equal rights are only attributed to those within a certain group, based on a criteria. Opportunities are only as good as those that are equipped to handle the task. So, a better way of putting the age old misquote, is to say that all people deserve to be treated with equal respect. But the caveat on that is IF they have not abused that right.

Technically, no two people are equal. They may have been given equal opportunity based on the minimum standards but each will advance themselves according to their ability and motivation.

A non-citizen does not have equal rights of a citizen. Laws do pertain equally, but rights are not equal.
A short person cannot go on certain amusement park rides.
Underage persons cannot purchase alcohol
Underage persons cannot vote
Underage persons cannot drive

There is rule of law, and something else called common decency. If Trump started to act the part that he is seeking, maybe just maybe the rule of law would be obeyed.

Trump is the biggest coward going. "I heard this. I am not saying it is true, but that is what I heard. Someone should look into it." He does it all the time. If you want to throw something out there, stand behind it like a man. Being a man isn't one of Trump's goals. Being a horse's ass now that is something he really seeks to achieve. Conservatives refuse free stuff. How many Conservatives run large corporation that have moved their corporate offices overseas to avoid paying federal income taxes? These corporation are providing services. Sometimes service is defined as "what the bull gives the cow".

If Trump's handlers cannot make him stop the night time tweets, he has a thin skin, he can get rattled by a Hispanic judge, proud of unfiltered comebacks, and recants on statements made earlier that same day - he does NOT have THE RIGHT STUFF to be the President of the USA.

How could a man like that be trusted with nuclear codes or decisions of war to send our soldiers into battle on his whim?
