Was just looking on WESH 2 website...

Sumter County county commission amendment.... (ie Reverse One Sumter) ....the NO vote, to keep representation as it is, received 61% of the votes and "YES" to change got 39%. 28,000 to 17,800 votes. This is good for The Villages.

Incumbent county commissioners Mask and Hoffman were re-elected; Clerk Gloria Hayward was re-elected.

John McCain won Sumter county 63% to 36%

McCain won Marion 55 - 44%; they did not have Lake County results yet.
