Perhaps it would be good to understand what socialism is or means.

Living in TV is a socialist entity!!

I will leave room for the opportunity that some one else is paying for what you have or what you get here in TV.

But me and everybody I know, we do not get on single thing living in TV for free. Or subsidized. It is one hundred percent paid for by the individual resident.

Most of us can no doubt gyess your subject or agenda, however using TV as an example of socialism took away ALL the credibility.

I am sorry....TV an example of socialism....

Let'e explore this just a bit. I remember when the liberal label was thrown out as insult now that word isn't getting the job done anymore so you've moved on to another....SOCIALIST. I seem to remember when Reagan went around the country vowing to shutdown social security because it is a socialist program.

Do you live in The Villages? Then you know its a socialist community. I don't live here all year round but I am still charged my amenity fee, for example even though I am 1800 miles away for 4 months.

If you live here then, most likely, you could be receiving a Social Security check, yet another socialist program. And if you are over 65 you must be enrolled in Medicare yet another socialist program.

So if I were you I really wouldn't be using that word as an intended insult cause that would be hypocritical and I know you wouldn't want to be a hypocrite now would you!

That's why it's so easy to push socialism now. You are an example of one that does not know what socialism is. Congratulations, you are contributing to the downfall of the best country in the world. And, I do not mean to disparage you at all.

This would be funny if it weren't so sad....

Not worth my time.

Democrats comes to mind. How about you? Tell me the difference between socialist and Democrat. Debbie Whatshername couldn't do it.

I am a Democrat who worked for a company that has done well for many years. The managers did well. the workers did well. The founder became a billionaire. We had a union that negotiated contracts so that we could work under a fair working agreement. We gave concessions in hard times and received better pay and benefits in good times. I am a firm believer in capitalism. I wanted my bosses to make a lot of money. The president and chairman signed contracts for pay and benefits. The US is a capitalist country that has some social programs negotiated between Republicans and Democrats.
Almost all of my Republican friends accept benefits from social programs. They would never consider themselves socialists, nor do I.

Thank you for presenting how most Americans see the issue!
