If he doesn't, how long will republicans allow him to violate the constitution, an impeachable offense?

Sadly, the answer to that is all too predictable.

The answer being...forever.

If so many Republicans have no problem with Russia interfering with our election process, what do you think the chances are that they will care...if Chump uses American tax money to enrich himself further? :ohdear:

Trump will be in direct violation of the US Constitution at 12:02pm on Jan 20,2017 if he rents out a room at his DC hotel to a foreign diplomat.

This is because of the Emolument Clause in Section one. No need to tell any tea partiers this as they have the Constitution memorized and imprinted on their brains.

Trump will also be in violation of his lease on the same hotel which says no government employee shall be a party to said lease.

Time for Donnie to so some fancy footwork and unburden himself from this boondoggle. If he doesn't, how long will republicans allow him to violate the constitution, an impeachable offense?

Your 3rd paragraph raises an interesting question. Is the elected head of the U.S. an employee of the federal government? My understanding is that POTUS is not an employee- but I can't find the answer. Can anyone site a source to answer this question.

What they really mean is make America "White" again.
The bigotry, racism and hatred has shown it's colors in this community.
Sorry I moved here and looking forward to getting out.
Ashamed of my generation.

I volunteer to help you pack up . You might consider Wildwood as an excellent choice to meet your diversity desires .

Do you mean the constitution loving, flag waving republican party.

On a lighter note, NBA teams visiting NYC are refusing to stay at the Trump SOHO Hotel, where they have traditionally stayed. Sadly, this hotel is not even owned by Trump, so some innocent owner is paying the price for doing business with Trump.

Petty partisan BS in the overall scheme of the world!!

They get a US Treasury check...right? A CEO is still an employee...the top...but getting a company check nonetheless.

Any MLK Blvd will open your eyes in a second. Can you imagine the liberals posting on here about equality being thrown onto MLK Blvd in East St Louis, or Chicago, or Detroit...or ANY other "fine" black neighborhood? Actually, naming the main "black street" in town MLK Blvd tells tourists where to AVOID. NOTHING good EVER comes from MLK Blvd.

What's wrong with the Constitution? The flag? That's the problem with liberals...they want to change the country into something it cannot be. You'll NEVER have equality because there is no equality. In the insane quest, the nation will drop lower and lower...become more and more 3rd world. You don't let idiots come in and turn it into the sh!thole they came from.

I bet the hotel is happy to see them go. Not EVERY customer is wanted. NBA athletes are known for their behavior, they're probably better off without them. If they could, many businesses would rather not deal with blacks. WHY do you think they HAD to make a law FORCING you to? I always wonder why people who complain live where they do. This place is 99% white, we like it that way...if YOU want diversity...then go to THEM, don't try to bring them here. You know it will happen...someday (hopefully after I'm gone), they will start moving in...that's the day the villages really dies. That's the day America has passed the point of no return.

I weep for our future...

NBA players are generally Thugs who have little respect for private property . Owner of the hotel is most likely far better off w/out them .

Sure...what is $600 per night times forty for the entire season? Owner is probably ecstatic.

Hardly. If a small fry millionaire like Hillary can get away with violations to national security, then a billionaire Trump can break a few little rules. Go police your own party's backyard before worrying about the "other guy."

Breaking a 'few little rules' and violating the constitution are two entirely different things, even republicans would agree.

Are you so ignorant as to believe these rooms would not be rented to someone else if these thugs went elsewhere?

People probably AVOID it when "they" are there...

EVERY team said that? Really? I don't believe you. And IF it's true...it just shows the RACISM in the black "community".

Well, apparently violating Federal Felony laws doesn't bother you when it comes to Crooked Hillary. You liberals violate the constitution on a daily basis.

Why don't you complain to your puppet master, George Soros, because he is pulling all of your strings on the left.
