The meeting Trump had with big media networks wherein he lashed out calling them liars was in my view a bad executive decision. There is no doubt in my mind that the main stream media deserved it all and more but there was a better way to make the point.

The American people rely on the competency and truthfulness of journalists. They have an ethical duty to themselves, their profession and to the American people to report factually, openly honestly and without bias.

Journalists failure to do so is a breach of trust with the American people. Their breach of trust only begets more distrust and more distrust descends into chaos...and here we are.

Why are people so easily led? Because our leaders in government and in industry have cultivated collectives (groups of like thinking people who too often follow blindly) and discouraged individualists

I guess you missed the part where I said that I am far from 'crying' and actually looking forward with anticipation...to seeing Trump exposed for the fraud that he is. ;)

Pence is a bit of an unknown, but I'm guessing he will quickly be the one actually running the country while Trump realizes he is way over his head and will retreat to his Twitter account...to lash out at those of us who laugh and mock his simpleton views of the world.

The best that can be hoped for at this point, is that Pence shows a modicum of competency and continues to defuse the inflammatory and ignorant statements...that flows forth from Chump at the wee hours of the morning.

For the health of our great nation...I truly hope Pence is successful.
