SO, liberals are in favor of low waged illegal aliens in the work force. But, they also want to make them legal. So, once they make them legal, they decide they now want union wages and then take America jobs. The price of goods and services go up, but the illegals are no longer illegal. Americans lose their well paying jobs to the now legal, illegals. Then there is no one to do the low paying farm jobs because they want union jobs, since they are now legal.

Mexico gets taxed higher and the Democrats decide that Americans will suffer higher prices to make up for it. And yet, they do not feel that raising the minimum wage scale will cause the prices to go up to compensate. WHY?

Liberals say they do not want to lower the corporate tax rate or give tax breaks to rich big business because it's not fair. They want to raise the tax rate for the wealthy, but for some reason do not feel that the wealthy or big business will compensate by higher prices for goods and services. WHY?

Liberals seem to be blatantly avoiding common sense and logic.

Avoiding common sense and logic? NO...INCAPABLE of common sense and logic.

Since they've been involved...equal...things have steadily gone down hill.

The Problem With

The problem with we Americans is that we want instant everything. it is going to take the Trump Administration sometime just to get this government working properly. The founders deliberately made it difficult to accomplish desired legislation as they did not want elected officials to legislate in HASTE and REPENT in leisure.

Obama's use of pen and phone and regulations that gave legislative power to agency such as the EPA circumvented the balance of power
While certain executive orders are required Obama's use from a qualitative standpoint were unconstitutional .

As a sidebar I find it disconcerting to read that the State Department ordered stress management seminars for its employees to deal with Hillary's loss. these are the very people who are suppose to be dealing with stressful national problems.

I also wonder of what value the EPA employees are when a number of them have been showing up for working literally crying.
People that emotional simply can't make rational decisions

Typically it's more effective to use facts, logic, and rational thought to make a point rather than resorting to name calling and unsubstantiated accusations. You must have forgotten to put any facts in your attempt to persuade. Pathetic, playground, finger pointing only makes me laugh.

If you are in favor or higher wages, the one thing that can drive up wages is a glut of available workers.

The unemployment rate is a phony number anyway. It only counts the number of people on the unemployment compensation rolls. It doesn't count people whose benefits have expired and have stopped looking for work. Nor does it count people who were laid of and took jobs for less money than they were making before.

The actual number of unemployed is much greater, (some sources say two or three times) than the "official" number.

" It only counts the number of people on the unemployment compensation rolls. It doesn't count people whose benefits have expired and have stopped looking for work." How do those people put food on the table, if they are on welfare they are counted.

Full employment according to economists is 5.5% Unemployment
I t does very a little but not usually more the point 5%

Full employment is 5.5% of the work force is unemployed? Does this sound like a conflict in terms? More ridiculous political speak.

Full employment is when every able bodied American that wants to work has a job that is commensurate with their skills and abilities. An engineer working as a greeter in Wal-Mart should not be counted as fully employed.

Once every American that wants to work and is able to work is working at a job at their skill and ability level, we can begin bringing in foreign workers to fill the jobs that are needed.

When there are too many workers and not enough jobs, wages will increase. This is basic supply and demand from Economic 101. Wages won't need to be raised by some phony government number. Everyone will be earning what they deserve.

He's just telling you that story to get another buck from you...he's knows you're an idiot...you ordered a corona.

You're right. :) I should have ordered a Corona with lime. Or it could have been a shot of Tequila, or a Margarita, or avocados, or any of the things listed in the article linked below:

Here's what else we import from Mexico, Mr. Trump - Sep. 16, 2016

And we can't produce any of those items here?

Women and minorities...there weren't many white men doing that. WHEN will you learn! They're too emotional and too ignorant to have a say.

Women know about PEOPLE...they don't know about "things". Minorities...well they don't know anything and without quotas would be left out in the cold...where they belong. NO MORE QUOTAS for the unqualified.

Huh Dave? WTF are you talking about? You need to do some checking...unemployment is determined by calling 60,000 households...using a formula...and asking them. People receiving benefits is a separate number. Half the country is receiving some government benefit. THAT many are either unemployed or underemployed.

"Economists" determined that 5.5% is full...it's based on "temporary" unemployment as people move from job to job. People "between" jobs.

Wages decrease...you knew that...just pointing out the typo for others readers.

The reality is...we're probably living in the era of "peak jobs" as automation and robotics takes over. Somewhere in Asia they have a fast food restaurant completely "staffed" by machines.

Many countries are beginning to talk of a minimum monthly income paid to all citizens. The age of Star Trek is coming...IF we get that far. Don;t forget, white people are being bred out, we're the minority below age 7. Within 30 years, we'll be Mexico II. Is there much cutting edge technology coming out of Mexico? Didn't think so...

STOP believing their bullsh!t stories! Did we all die from the last scare story...what was it? Zika? It was supposed to make all the newborns heads small. They spent $ billions on it.

It's all CRAP so they and their friends can make money looting the treasury.

If you are so uptight about the Morse family, why do you live here? You do know that they subcontract, don't you? So, why do you assume that the Morse family hires illegals? Do you have proof, or do you just enjoy slandering them? Or, is your wealth envy so great that you miserably have a need to slur those that are better than you?

LOL :1rotfl:

You would have to be an idiot, not to know that since a large % of the people working on the common areas around here can't even speak English...that a significant number must be 'undocumented.'

You would have to be an even bigger idiot...not to know that The Developer knows this.

As I said, they should be prosecuted for breaking the law.

And your pathetic attempt to make excuses for the Morse's because they 'subcontract'... simply exhibits your continuing flaming hypocrisy. ;)

I personally have no problem with my amenities fee doubling by hiring Americans...but not everyone who is so outspoken against immigration shares my position.

SOOOO, they are 'flaming hypocrites' also.'

You're welcome.

The reason undocumented workers are hired, is so that businesses can take advantage of them...and keep the prices of their products/services low.

Which, in essence, is why Americans (and yes, even/especially those on the right)...encourage businesses to hire undocumented workers.

Consequently, I can't wait to hear the whining and crying from those ignorant people that don't understand this...who will start screeching when prices rise significantly. :D

A man walks into a bar in The Villages.
"Bartender, I'll have a Corona," he says and flips a 5 dollar bill on the bar.
Bartender says, "The price has gone up from $5.00 to $6.00 to cover Trump's Mexican import tax."
Man puts another dollar on the bar and drinks his beer.

Remind me who's going to pay for that wall.

Not me, I don't drink watered down pi$$.

There you go again spouting out opinion like it is fact and calling people names...in your quest to stop bullying...

So you don't feel it is racist for you to assume someone that does not speak English is an illegal immigrant...Nice!

As for the developer (or the subcontractor) and the rule of law, he is only required to ask for identification of all employees and to keep a copy of the provided identification in the employees file. He is not required to be an identification expert, nor is he required to investigate any identification provided.

You have no proof that the employees are not already "American" (unless you only consider Caucasian Americans as American), you are just making more unfounded accusations...

You probably don't live in the Villages, of course you have no problem with your amenity fees doubling...2 x $0 is $0

You are a racist and a lying (unt, as proven in the cockroach thread...I believe Ol Don still has his boot on your neck and you have nothing to say about it!

I'm going to be civil, because I realize what I am replying to.

Those Latinos working in the common areas are NOT working for the Morses. They may very well have some working for them, but you seem to think that anyone working in The Villages is owned by Morse, which shows exactly how lacking in common sense and logic you are.

You still did not answer the question. Why do you live here if you hate it so much? I have yet to hear you say anything good about it. Are you stuck here? Is your mortgage under water? Or, is the answer being that you would be a miserable person anywhere you live? And then again, you may just be doing your best to be a TROLL and the point of that is to agitate everyone into an argument.

Hell must be as cold as it is here today...we agree...

Except with the cost...illegals are not much of a discount any more...they're demanding $10+ an hour.

We have 50 million on government assistance...there are your people to fill those job vacancies.

Put in a simple clause: All contractors, subcontractors, and their respective employees will meet all current immigrant/citizenship documentation laws.
