As a modern, free-thinking woman, I would gladly sign petitions to have the Tea Party declared a terrorist group - and would have Donald Trump declared a terrorist with his inflammatory remarks about religions and ethnic groups.

No woman should vote for Trump. He is a danger to our gender.

In your case, you may have problems proving your gender. Why don't you just sit back and allow the world to continue without you, as you have done for the past 80 years?

Comey did his job. Since his conclusion doesn't agree with the Republicans, he is corrupt, or incompetent. The FBI went over all the emails, but people that didn't know better than they do. Right!

Comey now will be reviewing Clinton's answer under oath to the House to see, if she lied under oath. Comey is going to conclude that she didn't. We will go through the same nonsense at another House meeting. When Hillary is elected president, impeachment proceedings will start right out of the gate. They got nowhere with Benghazi. So, this will be their line of attacks.

When are the Republicans going to do their jobs, and govern? The answer is never. Governing is hard. Bitching about everything is easy. I guess the Republicans have concluded that the way for us to stop the road Chinese communism is bring the government to a total stop. Therefore, the Democrats will not be able to kill them all as traitors, because you can't betray something that doesn't work.

NO, actually he did not do his job. As a former member of law enforcement, I could list a multitude of mistakes he made or deliberate miscarriage of justice he perpetrated by his lazy lack of investigation. There was enough information, just in his testimony to justify/mandate her indictment. I find it incredible that he proved that they had gotten to him, because he was not this corrupt in his past.

I also find you to be impossibly naive to accept a blatantly corrupt Hillary Clinton as your champion. It shows your total lack of integrity.

Democrats use the black issue for political gain only. Everyone knows that they could care less about any injustice, when they have a perfect example of corruption running for president from their party. If you wish to prove to the blacks that there is equal justice, then Hillary should be made to pay for her criminal activity. Of course, coming from the party of slavery, what could one expect.

Anybody with an iota of common sense knows that our government does not work without compromise. Really, we had better "wake up" and start working together and stop all the nonsense before it's too late and our way of life "falls" like the Roman's did.

It's falling BECAUSE of compromise! Yes, you better wake up! Your country is being overrun. A minority wave is moving through the population. We're falling for the same reasons, they diluted their population too much. There was no longer any unity of nation. EVERYONE from the common citizen on up was corrupt.

There you go...typical ignorant post.

Hitler was Germany, we were discussing Rome and how their expansion let to a dilution of their population with conquered peoples who had no loyalty to Rome...

But you just keep repeating the 3 or 4 phrases you know how to type.

We're heading down the same path only we've invited in people who hate us and want "their" lands back.

Help me understand what your attempting to say because your about as clear as mud. All Muslim's are terriost's or just bad or what? Do you want to send them somewhere else? Where? Are you wanting to send all Mexicans back to Mexico or just build a wall. How about all the rest of the Lantinos? Let's look at history. Maybe the Native Americans would like to send all of us who are European American back to Europe where our anchestey came from----yes.
Oh, what are you going to do about all the African Americans---ship them back to Africa? Who is left after all this shipping? What a plan.......

It seems we have been down this same road before. When President Obama was running all the republicans did was try to get people to believe he wasn't an American and therefore couldn't be President. Did that work? Now Hillary should be put in Prison because she is a liar and traitor. Do you actually believe that is going to work? The electorate is a lot smarter than you give them credit. The fact is unless you cut the nonsense and start coming up with a way to eliminate the deficit and balance the budget, create new jobs, and increase the middle class incomes the GOP will definitely get Hillary elected just like they got Obama elected. People are tired of negative rhetoric and want some real answers and a real specific plan. It's not enough to say "elect me because the other person is bad and shouldn't be President". That plan didn't work before and won't work now.

ther Presidency.

If you represent the interest of the wealthy and that's only 1% and you represent some of the middle class and that's very small then who's left? What's left is finding out what people are afraid of and reminding them as often as possible and hope for the best. That doesn't always work. So the big spenders spend on getting congressman elected.

The other branch is congress. The leadership figured out a way to draw the lines in voting districts so minorities are grouped together and not more spread out as it was before.

It you really believe that Hillary is innocent then you are retarded. Ask ANYONE that has worked for the gov, and especially anyone that has worked for the Dept of State in the last ten years and they will 100% agree that she broke the law, not once but multiple times. So, if you are the electorate, then you need to get your head out of the sand, because you are about as smart as a box of hair.

I lack integrity. Now, that is funny. You are a former law enforcement officer, and you used your background to come to the conclusion that I lack integrity. You based your conclusion on what? I defended Comey's decision not to charge her. He lacks integrity in the eye's of people who think that only their views are correct.

That is what the Republicans at the hearing tried to jam down his throat. He would have none of it, and they all backed off. Have no fear, Fox News, the fair and balanced news organization, would do what they do best promote one side of an argument, and repeat it over and over like it was fact. Everyone that doesn't agree with them is either stupid, or mindless. They are lap dogs following their leader, where ever he/she takes them. Are you going to try to sell that Fox News is "fair and balanced"? Fox News has no idea what the word integrity means.

Hillary is my champion. Since everyone posts as guests, you have no idea, what my past posts were. I am a registered Republican, and Kasich was my man. As far as Hillary was concerned, I hope that charges were brought against her, but after the Democratic convention. I didn't want Bernie either. Hopefully, Hillary VP pick would be elevated to the Democratic presidential candidate. There was no way that Hillary was not going to get the nomination, if charges weren't brought against her.

On the Republican side, I hope that delegates become unbound. Trump is a complete and utter *******. He acts like a child with his name calling. He isn't fit to be president. He is out there being all things to all people. Again, he is a con man. I know I am hoping against hope, but I want Kasich to be the Republican nominee.

One more time, if it is Hillary against Trump, I will not be voting for president. I will not vote for the lesser of two evils, because an evil person is the last thing that we need as president.

thank-you,,,I don't agree with everything you say but I think that you are an honorable man who has given a lot of thought in forming an opinion. I agree there is something about Kasich that makes me feel comfortable that he will think things out, listen to advisement and may be more centered. He is the most presidential candidate I have seen in a republican debate.

Sure, you're a "Republican." That is about as truthful as some of the garbage that comes out of Hillary's mouth. You have said this before, but NO Republican would vote for Hillary as corrupt as she is. I could go on but you are useless, if you really believe the cr@p you write. This is suppose to be a put down? This post makes absolutely no sense at all. Leave no doubt about what? I can't even begin to imagine where I contradicted anything.

What is the contradiction? I am a Republican, but don't agree with everything the party nominee, Trump, is putting forward. All Republicans must walk lock step with the nominee or they are not a true Republicans. Then, half the Republican party are not true Republicans. They are all contradictions in their own minds, and should shut up. If that is the case, I am in good company.

Guest 07-13-2016 08:26 PM

In our generation it used to be "love it or lump it." That means if you don't embrace it just suck it up for now until things maybe turned your way someday.
That turned into "love it or leave it." This means you have no options. You must obey. That's not American.

Out of 17 GOP candidates, Trump won the nomination fair and square. You don't agree with him, so you are not going to vote. Sounds immature to me. Just take your ball and go home because you don't like the rules of the majority. Why don't you just register as an Independent? That way, you'll have an excuse for not supporting the Republican party. "Lock step" has nothing to do with support, but obviously loyalty is beyond your understanding. Remember, if you don't vote, you have no right to complain about the outcome, so just sit back and keep quiet.

However, in the latest Military Times election survey, more than one in five troops said they’d rather not vote in November if they have to choose between just those two candidates.

Military Times survey: Troops prefer Trump to Clinton by a huge margin

That's interesting. Even with our most patriotic citizens, "more than one in five troops said they’d rather not vote in November if they have to choose between just those two candidates." So the guy is not alone.

A number of things can influence the tally of a poll;

Had the troop member voted in prior elections?
What is the age of the troops surveyed?
What is the ethnic majority of the troops surveyed?

Polls are often incorrect with regard to outcomes, just think back to the polls that said Trump would not be republican winner of primaries...

Then again it is down to a "smug acting criminal" or a "wackadoodle loud mouth", so maybe they are not interested...

I would rather see the wackadoodle win, I just don't like anything about "Crooked Hillary" (damn ugly, habitual liar, womanizer supporter, etc.) But, 52% of the population is receiving government benefits and they don't give a rats ass about anything but making sure there is no cut in their benefits.

You are kidding right! Trump won fair and square. Trump won, because the field was to large. He acts like a child calling people names. He won by being all things to all people, and never supplying details to anything.

He won by splitting this country based upon race. I thought the Republican party wanted to reach out to minorities, and not blame them for all the evils in the world.

I don't need an excuse for not supporting Trump. Blind loyalty is just plain stupid. Take a good look at the number of devoted Republicans in high places that will not vote for Trump. I am in damn good company. Loyalty and lock step are two different things. That is nonsense. In voting for Trump, you are putting the blinders on. You are being loyal to a con man that changes on a whim.

If the Republican party is the party that wants to make sure that nothing gets done, and there is no reason to compromise on anything, Trump is your man.

Do you think for a second that the tactic of obstruction is the sole domain of the Republican party, you are living in a dream world.

I voted for Kasich in the primary. Kasich would work with the Democrats.

The one and only reason Trump has a chance to be president is his opponent, Hillary. The only reason she has a chance to win is her opponent, Trump. Kasich, Jeb Busch, Rubio, Kerry, and Biden would be walking away with this election.

I am not going to complain about the situation we got ourselves in, but "I told you so" will probably be used by the party that doesn't win the election.

I hope you realize how ludicrous your answer is. Just because your moderate Kasich couldn't pull it off, because the MAJORITY did not find him even interesting enough to vote for him, you believe that Trump won because there were too many in the field? How do you explain his winning when there was just himself and Cruise? You are just full of excuses. You really should consider switching to the party of excuses, the Democrat party. You think you know it all, but the reality of it is that Trump won fair and square and your candidate of choice won one state. I didn't vote for Trump to win Florida but my candidate did not win it. You do not hear me crying the blues because my candidate failed. I don't even like Trump that much, but I fully intend to support him and give him my vote in NOV. I am not going to be a whiny little baby and sit this fight out. America cannot afford to allow Clinton in the driver's seat of our country. She is a negligent, thoughtless, and calculating criminal. She is dangerous. If you are so prissy that you can't support Trump because you don't like him, then really, register as an Independent because you are NO Republican.

And you really do sound just like a liberal with all this seemingly veiled "progressive" talk. You use all the same wording that liberals use.

You haven't fooled anyone with your little act. You are a liberal, whether or not a closet liberal or just a game playing troll on here. I doubt you EVER voted Republican in your life.

A number of things can influence the tally of a poll;

I would rather see the wackadoodle win, I just don't like anything about "Crooked Hillary" (damn ugly, habitual liar, womanizer supporter, etc.) But, 52% of the population is receiving government benefits and they don't give a rats ass about anything but making sure there is no cut in their benefits.

off topic--it's about polls
Here's a theory I just heard on talk radio that I think sounds solid.
If someone calls you up and asks you who you will vote for
you are more likely to say Clinton. No one wants to be thought of as a racist or hater and Trump does say some pretty embarrassing things.

But in a voting booth, when no one is looking you may vote for Trump.

This explains why Trump does better on computer polls over phone polls.

You are suggesting that the average voter is very shallow. Maybe some folks are embarrassed of Trumps rhetoric, but I for one, will admit to anyone why I will be voting for him. I will also admit that I did not vote for him in the primary. But, Trump won fair and square and has many of the ideological views on issues as I do. He is no politician and no angle but I believe he says what's on his mind and what he believes at that particular time. He IS flexible enough to listen to advisors and does surround himself with experts. Obama should have surrounded himself with experts, and maybe he wouldn't be ostracized and disliked as much. He might also have been successful if he had some experts instead of radicals working for him and advising him.
Hillary is a nasty, dirty and corrupted political poser that has no use for politics other than how much she can make from it with the least amount of effort. She will lie, steal and back-stab in a heartbeat. She is not loyal to anyone but herself. She will say anything to get her way and probably believes her own lies. She is the worst of all types of corrupted politicians and should not even be considered for the highest position in the world. She would destroy America is possible.

This may also explain why there aren't many Trump bumper stickers or lawn signs in The Villages.
Today I saw a Trump sign on a lanai on the way to Bacall.

On the ludicrous scale, I can't compete with you. Crying? What the hell do I have to cry about? Neither of Clinton or Trump can get at me. They are not going to touch social security or Medicare, and I have plenty of money to last me the rest of my life, and then some.

Why have Republicans adopted the philosophy that compromise is the last thing in the world that they should be doing? If neither party budges an inch, we are on road to nowhere. How can anyone be happy with our current political situation? If Republicans don't want to be reasonable about solving problems, then I want no part of them. Being unreasonable isn't the sole domain of the republican party. It appears that you don't want a democracy. You want a dictatorship.

This is just like a boxing match, where both parties go to their corners. The bell sounds to start the round, but neither budges an inch. They yell from their corners "come on over here, and I will beat the hell out of you". All noise, and no action.

I use all the words liberals do. What English! I am sorry I didn't major in double talk in college.

What you can't get through your thick skull, no matter, which of these two gets elected, nothing will change. NOTHING! Obstruction is the new normal. Of these two, I could care less, which one is elected. Can I be any clearer about that!

All Republicans should rally around Trump. Maybe you should send that memo to these Republicans. Who's Not Going to the Republican Convention?[LIST]

This list doesn't included Republican governors, major contributors, and Republican leaning major news people. It looks like I am very good company.

When the field wound down to three, Trump, Cruz, and Kasich, the states that were up for grabs were in the Northeast, and the rust belt. Republicans there hate Cruz more than Trump. Cruz didn't even both to go to NY. Most of the reasonable Republicans dropped out of the race, after Florida.

I am a reasonable person. In this current state, that is a character flaw.

There is still an outside chance that Donald Trump could fail to get the votes needed to be the nominee. The Rules Committee will vote tomorrow at 11:00am on allowing the delegates to vote their conscience. Reports state they are 28 votes shy of passing.

On the dem side, the best hope of removing Hillary Clinton from the presumptive nominee spot probably passed when Director Comey failed to indict her.

This would have been the perfect opportunity for VP Biden to step up to the plate. Morning Joe Scarborough said today on his show that Biden would be leading Trump 70/30. Nobody is more likeable and qualified to be president than the VP.

I wanted a Biden/Obama ticket 8 years ago. If Obama was VP for the last 8 years I would want a Obama/Sanders ticket this year. So who knows---who knew

I guess that you are the other liberal troll, that has befriended me. Glad to know you, pal.

They also mentioned the five that I stated before that would win the election, if they were against Hillary or Trump. They are Kasich, Rubio, Jeb Bush, Biden, and Sanders.

You could be wrong about Hillary. The FBI has done the bulk of the work reviewing her email server. It shouldn't take that long to determine, if she lied before Congress under oath.

You know hasn't called Morning Joe in a long time, Donald Trump. Has he has written off Morning Joe viewers as Hillary's? Morning Joe is the only cable news program worth watching. If you want both sides of an issue, you will get it there.

And you are a contradiction to your own mind. Perhaps it is better that you remain silent and make people wonder, rather than speak out and leave no doubt.

The answer..."that you're an idiot".

Shows you how low the pickings are in the military...they're VERY diversified now, aren't they? That explains why they think they have ONLY two choices.

Here's another theory...the "polls" are all propaganda bu!!sh!t. Lies told to sway you. Get you to "join the winning team". Go ahead, be fooled.

Yes, it's called the media and propaganda, it's the theater of politics.

There's also "voter stupidity", many are afflicted.
