Margaret Sanger died in 1966. Does anyone on this forum believe that attitudes toward birth control have changed in the past 50 years.

Of course it has changed, but to hold up Planned Parenthood as the goodness of all goodness is just plain silly when it was founded, yes..I agree to help many women, but founded in racism and belittling of those less forunate.

To then after all the platitudes thrown their way when those videos show clearly and I am speaking of the unvarnished videos, that the organization feels, as so many seem to feel, above the law. How callous and uncaring for human life they have become.

To know the statistics and to know that one of Sanger's goals was to PREVENT unwanted pregnancies and not kill unborn for the reason it is being done today. She was an anarchist with racial attitude but I think she seriously wanted to help those who find themselves in this situation.

I DO NOT THINK her intent was to foster free sex, in fact she wanted to have a rule for the number of babies you could have when married, nor was it to make some cash on the part of those killed.

BUT then to hear the hypocrisy of those who "fight" for civil rights, who fight against those who feel our society is flawed and this surge in abortions is a result of it, talk as if the killing of black babies was not overwhelming, talk as if Sanger was some kind of saint (see Hilary Clinton comments). For those same folks who bring up PAST AND GONE eras of severe racism and ignore or pretend this organization is not implicit in the same things TODAY, is just sheer hypocrisy.

When 93% of the abortions are due to inconvenience, not necessity then that's immoral by anyone's standards. Less than 1% are done because of medical, rape or incest. Maybe we need to readdress the difficulty of adoption procedures and we could give the lazy mothers-to-be another option.

But, the issue today is the abhorrent issue of selling human body parts. By law we can't do anything about stopping the abortions, but we can stop the disgusting selling of body parts. Next thing you know, women will be getting paid to get pregnant in order to abort so that someone can have their baby for body parts. That saves the lazy ones that sell their newly born babies, the time of the pregnancy.

There are 10 pages with 93 posts concerning this topic it should be clear to anyone by now that those defending Planned Parenthood are doing so primarily because if they are truthful about Planned Parenthood's major breach of medical ethics then they know it will be the beginning of the end to abortion...and that frightens liberals a lot. what Planned Parenthood did and are probably still doing should be investigated for its criminality but it won't because liberals with assist from the liberal media circle their wagons to protect bad actors, and bad behavior not only continues but is encouraged...and so America's march toward total moral anarchy continues.

If you would like to go back to the rat poison, coat hanger, and motel rooms before legal abortions in clean safe clinics, there is something wrong with you.

What Planned Parenthood is doing is allowed by a law passed by the senate in 1993 by an overwhelming majority of 97-3. It will be interesting to see tomorrow how Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell condemns this law which he voted for in 1993 and puts a stand-alone bill on the floor of the senate which will strip almost three million people of their healthcare. Stay tuned.

We will see when the accuser backs up both of his accusations and hopefully he/she will do that.

I am not hearing, but can stand corrected, ANY MOVEMENT TO REMOVE HEALTHCARE from anyone. Only that the law be upheld reading abortions and that funding be stopped until something is done.

Now, as the real issue - do you want to see abortions made illegal in the US so that they would be done like in the pre-legal times in unsanitary conditions where the mother was likely to have massive infections, etc?

The vote tomorrow is to defund Planned Parenthood. If PP is forced to close because of lack of funding, millions of people will lost their health care.
