Default Has the President become more Republican?

In the past few days the President and the people around him have moved to vastly more rational positions on Syria, Russia, NATO. He may be influenced by someone other than Steve Bannon.
If this trend continues he could see a second term.

If he can get around the various investigations around his neck. Good luck with that.

Yep, he is advocating all the things he made fun of proposed by people he made fun of and ridiculed.

These were the kind of issues that got him all the standing ovations at his rallies.

I agree with much of what he is doing, but wondering how all his die hard fans must feel, as they were totally lied to and conned. If you supported this guy, you must be sick because everything you said you loved is not coming true in anyway. Richest cabinet ever not excluded.

My prediction is.....new healthcare, either an extension of Obama Care or with Democrats, AND a comprehensive immigration plan....both proposed and talked about by his competitors, while being mocked and jeered by Trump and his supporters.

Investigations are not the big deal some would like to make of them.

Just ask Clinton! (and all her supporters did not think they were a big deal either).

Oh, they are getting interesting...

"WASHINGTON — The Justice Department obtained a secret court-approved wiretap last summer on Carter Page, a foreign policy adviser to Donald J. Trump’s presidential campaign, based on evidence that he was operating as a Russian agent, a government official said Wednesday.

The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court issued the warrant, the official said, after investigators determined that Mr. Page was no longer part of the Trump campaign, which began distancing itself from him in early August. Mr. Page is one of several Trump associates under scrutiny in a federal investigation."

"The Justice Department considered direct surveillance of anyone tied to a political campaign as a line it did not want to cross, the official added. But its decision to seek a wiretap once it was clear that Mr. Page had left the campaign was the latest indication that, as Mr. Trump built his insurgent run for the White House, the F.B.I. was deeply concerned about whether any of his associates were colluding with Russia.

To obtain the warrant, the government needed to show probable cause that Mr. Page was acting as an agent of Russia. Investigators must first get approval from one of three senior officials at the Justice Department. Then, prosecutors take it to a surveillance court judge."

I have maintained for quite a while that Trump, himself, was not the target, but as we all know now, he has a habit of "miscommunicating" at times and some of his "team" were trying to make deals.

I sure hope the President was not directly involved, but this story helps clarify some of the stupid stuff about "unmasking" etc.

Wasn't she under investigation by congress for almost two years. I am not absolving her of "stupidity" but with all the hearings and investigations, they found her not guilty of anything but bad choices.

Doesnt matter as she is not an elected official and is not President so why her name keeps coming up is a mystery.

Some folks just want to move forward....others stuck in some kind of anger just are in quick sand.
