This country has always been a majority of citizens that have been of Christian religions. I doubt if we will be able to call us America if we allow that to change. After all, if you read all the old documentation from the founders, you will find that they are all based on the foundation of Christian beliefs, even if not regulated by a strict Christian rule. Yes, we have freedom OF religion, but I doubt that founders ever envisioned a time where a radical religion would become so prominent in American lives. If the Democrats wish to be represented by a Muslim, then that is their prerogative. What's worst, being led by a Muslim or being led by a Communist? Either way, I guess we will find out how corrupted the millennials have become in their radical thinking in the future elections. |

If you reject the teachings...you're not a Muslim...except in name only. Like a Catholic who doesn't follow the rules...you're in name only...a Jew who doesn't follow the rules...in name only. Islam is a cancer...worse than the other religious cancers. Quote:

Did you say the same thing about Cassius Clay (Mohammed Ali) or Lew Alcindor (Karim Abdul Jabbar)? |

At the same time you need to recognize Islam in some instances is more of a cultural affiliation than religious in the pure sense. Yes, of course the "liberal" Muslims have rejected some of the more violent tenets. The fundamentalists view them as apostates and they are higher up on the kill list than westerners for that reason. Plus, there is no point alienating Muslim allies. M. Zuhdi Jasser is one. American Islamic Forum for Democracy Another is the King Abudllah of Jordan. In short, you need to take a broader geopolitical view if you ever hope to defeat Radical Islam.. |

They're Muslim in name only. Like an idolizer or fornicator who claims to be Catholic. A Jew who disregards the laws. They're called "relativists", they pick and choose what they will believe/do irregardless of what "God says". Their fakers and they're the reason there are over 5000 Christian sects alone. |

And, to my point, you/me/we need strategic allies to defeat Radical (ie fundamental) Islam so you really should avoid screwing that up with unhinged attacks on our natural allies like King Abdullah, the Kurds etc. In the meantime, our collective focus should be on outlawing the Muslim Brotherhood, which basically has a written (in Arabic) strategic plan to overthrow the US from within. I should post that at some point since I have a copy .. .mental note to myself. |

Perhaps the DNC should be directed by two people sharing the Chairmanship . One person representing the " Old Guard " of the Clintons which should be Jon Podesta .
And someone representing the " new era " for which I have no suggestions other than Elizabeth warren should get a lot of say in the matter . Another very interesting choice would be the ever popular and diplomatic James Carville . |

We should all hope that Mr. Ellsion takes full advantage of implementing the many benefits of the " 224 613 " Project in guiding his gyroscope which will be focused on retaking complete control over the Federal Government and in so doing no ones safety will be at risk .
Odd that with a name of Ellison he is a Muslim --- most Ellions I ever knew were proud members of " The Chosen People " . How could this be a Muslim Ellison ? In any event it sounds as if it would be a perfect choice to map the post Clinton Party . I just hope that he gets along well with Sydney Blumenthal . |

What the Democrat party needs is more members like Senator Joe Manchin from WV. He is a good example of what the Democratic party used to be and should strive to be today. |
.....and once again bigotry raises it's ugly head from Trump's America. Are you familiar with the concept of freedom of religion? Does that only apply to white Christians?

As stated earlier, the blue collar guys will now flock back given the brilliance of naming a Muslim to head the DNC. Keep it up ... we enjoy watching you go up in flames. :) |

But to CONVERT to Islam? That's about as insane as it gets. I'll make up a religion based on another too...I'll tell everyone "God" told me to tell you. If I'm charismatic enough, maybe it'll catch on. Funny how it's been a while since any radically new religions were created...I can't believe Mormonism caught on...I mean...REALLY? He found golden plates (gone of course) from "God" that he translated? I'd say the same about someone who gets TOO obsessed with anything. How stable ARE they? |
