Occupy Wall Street Emails shows MSM,Dylan Ratigan, working with Protesters to Craft Message.

No shock here. They think this will help Obama and so they slant, and even in this case, CREATE THE NEWS.

What liberals falsely accuse conservatives of doing, you can be sure that they are doing. One of Rush Limbaugh's truths.

I think some of you are missing a very important point to these demonstrations. It has to do with the personal pocketbook of many Americans. More than 46 million Americans now live below the poverty level. Thats the highest ever. Unemployement is at 9%. The gulf between the rich and poor is at its widest since the 1920's. Yey these same Americans see record profits, huge bonusses given and either get laid off or not hired. These are the people the tea party should be marching with.

These Hard Right folks could care less about the poor or the homeless or the sick or the un-employed. Just themselves and their miserly back accounts.

then how about your president putting a priority on job creation instead of words and ongoing spending with no results.

As said many times before all he has to do is reduce the tax rate on corporate profits oversea to bring the money back to the USA for re-investment here. A reduced tax beats the hell out of no tax because they are not expatriating overseas profits. This one is so easy.

And another from past posts, renewable energy and energy independence. There are hundreds of thousands of new jobs involved with the creation of new refineries, new wells to be drilled, new methods of generating electricity and on and on....yet all we hear are the words. Billions spent here will put the people you are talking about back to work.

The country needs to get new manufacturing energized to create the new jobs...and this business unfriendly administration is just not doing one single thing except running around and cheer leading.

And of course we all know that even if unemployment were at 6% there would still be those who thrive on rallies and demonstrations. Especially when organized and fed $$$$, agendas, when and where.

Don't you ever wonder why the media never pans the demonstrations? It is because they can get them all in with one lens!!! Then they follow up with file videos from Europe where they do actually have 1000's to pan. ANd then the media and Obama would have us to believe they are in the streets for the same reason as the wall streeters.....more BS!!

What were the Europeans doing it for weeks and months before the wall street manifestation came to be manipulated??

An insult to thinking people.

Why do you say these things about me and thousands of others like me? Who do you personally know that fits your description?

Your right, I do know some, but most people right or left do care. Sorry and thank you for pointing me out on this one without an insult. SORRY.

I'm not jealous nor do I care about the bonuses. If an executive saves a corporation money by trimming it's debt, maybe he deserves it. A corporation is in the business to make money. If there is a profit to be made a business will pursue it. You pile on taxes and regulations that strip business of their money, they halt activity or move it offshore.

Business needs incentive to expand. Expanding business means jobs, and jobs means higher revenues for government through taxes than they can ever get by "soaking the rich", which we are already doing.

Cain's plan would indeed benefit business by providing them with costs with a certainty. Repatriated business would not be taxed. That will encourage business to return business from offshore to take advantage of the new playing field.

There is much more to this plan than the surface points of 9-9-9. Please read up on it. You might be surprised.

It will take drastic measures to save this country. We will not nickel and dime ourselves back to prosperity.

Richie,a couple of points. Americans do not begrudge extraordinary rewards for extraordinary results. However many of these bonusses are given to people who have failed in their jobs.(see Pfizer for one example). Bank of America just gave 5 million in bonusses to 2 people who failed.
And then to quote you"pile on taxes and regulations". What taxes,GE pays none, oil companies recieve subsidies and on and on and the regulations must really be hurting business because they are showing record profits. Throw in the financial reports by the biggest banks today and maybe there should be a revolution because these people are laughing at middle America.

This from the same people who tell the Right Wing Nuts to stay out of other people's business...? Stay out of Gay's business, stay out of the Woman's choice, etc, etc, etc. They sure are worried about who's got what or more or paying/not paying and whatever...Maybe they should practice what they preach.

Earlier this month a group of veterans calling themselves OccupyMARINES came out in support of the Occupy Wall Street protests, now entering their thirtieth day. They write on their Facebook page, "Marines support the movement. We will support demonstrators with organization, direction, supply and logistics, and leadership." It is illegal for active duty soldiers to protest in uniform. It appears all of the OccupyMarines are retired

Sliming the Tea Party

Quote:

If you ask President Obama, the angry mobs (to coin a phrase) of Occupy Wall Street (OWS), members of which when not relieving themselves on the hoods of New York taxis offer no coherent explanation of their purpose and agenda, are merely the Tea Party of the left.
Quote:

The Tea Party is vastly different in its methods and goals. It shares Thomas Jefferson's belief that the government that's best is the one that governs least. It wants to limit government and get it out of their wallets and daily lives. It believes that "we the people" defines who is master and who is servant.

It believes government should work for us, not the other way around. The OWS mobs believe government owes them and should take from those who earned and give to those who want. Redistribution of wealth is as much their mantra as it is the mantra of the occupant of the White House.

waynet: this one instance is where you and I agree. I've made peace with thef fact that executives in corporations are given attractive incentives because of their "supposed unique and gifted skill sets". However, I have never gotten use to the fact that far too mny executives their their titles as "entitlements to attractive incentives" irrespective of their performance. We have all come across presidents and vice presidents whose leadership, etc is wanting andin spite of their lack of leadership and "but for" the fact that their subordinates carried them they would have failed miserably. We all know why they are rewarded we just can't ever get use to that fact.
