Appears to be quite a bit of hyperbole being bounced about. Let's see these extremist Tea Party people are for reducing taxes and spending and returning to family values. They want Congress to abide by the U.S. Constitution. All of this is diametrically opposite what Republicans want. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Better than 70% of the population agree that Obama has taken the economy in the wrong direction.

Chris Christie showed both class and why he is going to be a great presidential candidate some day by stating "I am not yet ready for this office." Boy in this society of clamoring for and doing anything for instant fame Chrisite's statement show great intelligence and maturity. On the other hand what defines the classless were people like Dave Letterman who could not get pass Chris Christie's weight. shame on them for their banality.

Yes, the GOP Great Fat Hope decided not to run and it now looks like a sure thing that President Obama will get re-elected. I'm happy - and I am sure one of the great minds at the local watering hole is glad he did not take my bet a couple of weeks ago.

You must be liberal. Had to bring something personal into the attack against Christie.

Just read Palin decided not to run......to no one's big surprise. Her star has fallen even though she still can command big bucks for speechs and appearances and speechs, etc, which is all she was ever interested in anyway. :cus:

I Should have gave the process more credit, but when Bachmann and Perry were both front runners, I could only shake my conservative head in shame. Now with Romney in the cat bird seat, AS I SAID ALL ALONG HE SHOULD BE, I am now in the campaign mode. :MOJE_whot:

Cain/Rubio

Unbeatable, especially by Obama/Gaffe a minute Biden

I'll drink to that!

There would not be enough ice-cole Yeungling in The Villages to make me vote for the combination of Cain and Rubio.

Yes we know that. Do you think it really matters?

Guest 10-07-2011 03:54 PM

Romney is a good businessman and would do well in managing us out of the economic crisis but then what.... I do not believe he would do well concerning foreign affairs nor do I like his positions on social issues. Hopefully he has the wisdom to surround himself with intelligent people to fill those gaps.

Havng said that I will throw my support behind anyone, short of an ax murder, that goes against Obama The Destroyer

Sort of looks as though the Republicans and Tea Partiers are going to have a split of their candidates.

Hey, a third party candidate of a Tea Partier does nothing else but to welcome President Obama into office with an even bigger margin. Thank you to Ricky Perry for the racism on your leased land and your minister for calling Mormons a "cult".

Thank-you Obama for the double scandal that will seal your defeat in November 2012.

Fast and Furious

Solyndra

Bye Bye Barack Hussein Obama:beer3::pepper2::pepper2::pepper2:

Solyndra won't stick.

Yeah, it's a black mark, but it's easy to discount when you consider how small a piece of the DoE budget it was AND the fact that in EVERY growing industry you WILL have SOME losers.

Fast and Furious? That's another matter. That could really do some damage - especially with Democrats historically being the party of ever increasing gun cuntrol.

You obviously are looking at these "scandals" from one perspective...mine is that Solyndra is one of deceit, manipulation and lying....THAT, and not the dollar amount is important.
