Can Democrats scare Republicans into giving up their goal of repealing Obamacare? Obama contends that if Congress repeals ACA "133 million" Americans with pre-existing conditions will be in jeopardy. the actual number is 500,000**.

According to the Kaiser Foundation 50% of people get health insurance through their employer. Another 34% are on medicaid and medicare thus not faced with the pre-existing condition barrier.
Pre existing condition only mattered to the individual market

** In 2010, Rep Waxman, chair to House Energy and Commerce Commission issued a report on individual the market. The four largest insurers Aetna, Humana, Unitedhealth, Wellpoint declined to issue health policies to 250,000 people per year. a 2011 GAO report concurred with these numbers.

Waxmam also explained that insurers sometimes issued policies with riders to exclude certain coverages. The big four (listed above) refused to pay 700,000 claims a year because of pre-existing conditions

Even so many people with pre-existing conditions manged to get health coverage though high risk insurance pools run by 35 states.
Those pools covered 225,000 people according to Kaiser Family Foundation. Those without high risk pools came under Obama Administration high risk pools and according to Kaiser peaked at 115,000. Adding these figures together indicates that just 500,000 would need Obamacare. that was a minuscule fraction of Obama pronouncement of 133 million

In my view instead of disrupting both the health care and insurance markets the so called uninsured and uninsurable could have been handled through medicare, medicaid and high risk insurance pools. Instead ACA has caused chaos and mounting health care ad insurance costs

A lot of folks were mandated to sign up for Obamacare because they lost their insurance because of Obamacare. Many folks that did not want insurance were forced to sign up or face fines. Obama brags about the great economy and neglects to mention that he is the ONLY president in history to NEVER reach a 3% GDP year average growth in history. And GDP is the real indicator of the economy. And Democrats just keep on repeating those lies. Obama is a liar and the Democrats are liars, period.

Just repeal Obamacare. It was a major mistake that is costing America billions which will add up to trillions if left alone.

ALL of these problems are caused by an increasing minority/poor population...by affirmative action and quotas. EVERYTHING is going down to accommodate women/minorities.
