I understand the need to cover pre-existing conditions,
but I thought it was passed to make healthcare more
affordable for all?
Doesn't ACA stand for Affordable Care Act?

Many people I know are paying higher premiums, and huge deductibles for less coverage!

No, ObamaCare was passed so that those that do not have health insurance can have it paid for by the rest of us. Socialism.

Do you pay any medical insurance premium at all?

Of course we do. It is proportional to the persons income. just go to the website and input your income and you will find the dollar answer you seek.

Exactly one of the prime reasons for the ACA being passed.

I was like minded with those who oppose until the unbelievable happened and i could not work again.

I hope for your sake you never are disabled. Would you accept this financial life preserver or throw it back because it isn't rite to accept help?

Doesn't Social Security Disability and Medicare coverage, which is provided to the disabled, serve the same purpose?

Yes, but liberals won't admit it. They did nothing for the rest of us, only to the losers. Two thousand pages to push socialism and the rest of us get told to pay for it. They even stole almost a trillion bucks from Medicare to subsidize it.

What's a trillion dollars among friends?

Better yet, what's a trillion bucks to a liberal? Chump change, taken from chumps.

But, what IS Trump's alternative to ACA that he would hopefully have all ready to go when ACA is dismantled on his first day of office?

We have not heard a single word of that.

Yes, after two years, or 104 weeks you are eligible for Medicare Coverage.

Back to the old way?

WHAT exactly IS the minimum standard for an "American"?

A free house? Free food? Free phone? Free education? Free childcare? Now free healthcare.

Over half the population is receiving some form of government benefit. How high CAN it go before we can't afford it? Can it go to 100%? Is that what YOU want? Dependent Americans? As the minority population rises, the number on welfare rises.

Maybe make the super rich individuals and corporations pay taxes at the same (or preferably higher) percentage rates as you and me - and close the loopholes for them. I got really ticked off when I saw Mitt Romney was paying a lower rate than me!

As for "going back to the old way" of healthcare - is that basically,"get sick and die because you cannot afford medical care"? That is NOT Minnesota nice, is it?

Do you really think that your proposal is a viable solution? The additional tax revenue generated would only be a drop in the bucket compared to what is actually needed to fund the Democrat's social welfare state.

The vast majority of those on public assistance vote democratic, so look for it to skyrocket if God forbid killary wins.
