Thank you but far far from true. I am just very upset at how these folks who NEVER will talk about issues and simply want to call names have tried to, maybe succeeded, in taking over this forum. There was always strong talk on here but people gave opinions on which you could debate. You cannot debate the constant and never ending calling people and groups names...threads involving people who are not even in politics..makng fun of people because of beliefs, whether religious or not. Perhaps those people who are opting out because of the recent behavior have it right...maybe these folks had that as their goal...I dont know, but how you can spend your time simply assailing other people without sharing even one inteligent thought on issues is well beyond me. I have started a number of threads this week on international issues and I suspect that most dont bother to even read them. I used to always say how much I learn on this forum.....right now the only thing to be learned on here is how to disrespect others, new ways to try to humiliate those you disagree with....again, the forum has become a playground for a few.... They get booted and come back to do the same thing....never met such disrespectful nasty people....I know you are not known, but what you type on here does in fact give clues to your character or lack thereof And it is not on one side, lest somebody believe that, but the recent group of folks who come here are just plain not nice people and anyone who wishes can forward this on to the administrator....he should already be aware. I fought as an over reaction when they made this a subscribe area but they were right....nobody should have to be confronted with such slanderous remarks as grace these pages on a daily basis. I sure have been guilty of going over the top at times.....but not on anywhere near as a regular basis as these folks. Their intent on coming on here is CONFRONTATION, not discussion ! |
I just looked at the video about the civilian army and I cant beleive that this mane is still in office. I see what he is trying to do and that is to have his own army seeing as he cant use our military for his oun purposes. This is nothing more than a take over of all rights we ever thought we had. If the rep. or even if the dems. help to get his passed or dont stop him they should all go to h--- . I wish there was a way to move election date up. Right now for the most part I will say that anyone under 30 really doesnt have a clue what is going on. Hitler went after the young people to get them on his side it was the older people that didnt want it and the same thing is happening here. WAKE UP PEOPLE before it is completely to late.

Downright amazing that FOX Noise can get people so worked up over their lies. I remember a great class I took called "Propaganda and Public Opinion". It told of classic propaganda techniques. One is the Half-Truth". The one that works best is The Big Lie. FOX Noise has these techniques down perfect.

There seems to be very little civil or coherent discourse from the left these days, and I see that as a very good thing. Because the left has not a coherent argument to provide. It's all geared to just the attempted destruction of their opponent.
Tells me I have little to worry about in November 2012. As for all the "ignore mania" happening on this forum; I won't be joining that trend. I don't fear the rising insanity of the left, but take comfort in it. The adults will prevail on this forum and in the coming elections. |

Would it be totally insane to me to think that we are being invaded by Alinskyites?

Thanks for the welcomes!
I don't know and don't care about any drama that is/was here before I came along. I most likely won't be giving a crap about any future drama either. I left 6th grade a good time ago. If anyone thinks I have been here before or whatever is certainly allowed to do so. You will be wrong. I came here roughly a month or so ago after being redirected for a restaurant review on Yelp!. I find it funny that someone posts something so typical far-right loony about Obama, yet when someone posts a differing opinion the rabid dogs jump in for the kill. Anyone liberal, progressive, educated, and with half a brain knows how the odds stack against them on this forum. That kool-aid is powerful stuff! Hey fella, why do I have to "have a problem? I know this is shocking, but not everyone believes like you do about stuff. It's been happening and will continue happening. Get over it! You got over women wearing pants and guys with long hair. You will be ok. I mean, did you expect this board to go like afternoon tea at grandma's house? When has it ever when it comes to politics? Maybe back when our politicians actually CARED about Americans. Anyway, I'm just voicing my opinion like everyone else. We are still able to do that right? I haven't been keeping up-to-date on what the conservatives were denying people this week. Vile? LOL. |

You say you're out of 6th grade? Read your crazy unprovoked words again, and tell us again about how you want "civil discourse". What hypocrisy. |

I can understand if your opinion is that Politifact is partisan. In *my* opinion, they've done enough digs at Obama to maintain credibility with me. What I'm a little unclear on is the stuff that Politifact quoted. They went to the actual pages of the bill to explain EXACTLY where the guy on Fox News (who was subsequently quoted by Victoria Jackson) got his facts wrong. I mean, yes, there are people out there that if they told me the sky was blue, I'd look up. But the fact that Politifact can call Obama on his broken promises tells me that they're not into hyperpartisanship. Are you saying you don't believe the text of the bill that clearly describes the Ready Reserve for what it is (and it's as much a private army as is the Salvation Army) - or that you don't believe Politifact is pointing people at the actual bill? |
if you don't agree it must be the source thats wrong. Just more conservative double talk. They would rather believe in some bogus army nonsense, really anything that dispariges this President.

Richie,
you are absolutely right (no pun intended). You have nothing to worry about in the elections of 2012. The Democrats will prevail with President Obama again and we do not have to worry that the USA will go back to the days of Bush and Cheney. |

Didn't the presidents job go further back than Bush/Chaney?
Seems like too many can only remember that far though. Y'all certainly would not be intimating that all was right (no pun intended) prior to Bush/Chaney. The new talking points out recently have "congress" as the enemy....some must not have gotten the memo. Even Obama recognizes the Bush/Chaney thing is old and lame....hence his new target....congress...comprised of bot R and D. Similar theme though...it is always somebody else's fault/problem/blame but his!! btk |

Why don't you use that language when you speak to the people over at the Black Entertainment Network who posted a story on Obama's plunging support among his black voter base? I'm sure they'll think you're hilarious. http://www.bet.com/news/politics/201...r-economy.html |

Richie,
You may say that Obama's polling numbers are going low to African-American voters. It doesn't matter if they think Obama is not the greatest. There is NO WAY the mainstream African-American bloc is going to vote for a Reactionary Republican like Michelle Bachmann, Rick Perry, Sarah Palin, or Marco Rubio if they are anywhere on the ticket. Still going to have around 90% going for Obama. Toss in most college students and voters under 30, too. Most Hispanic voters will do the same thing, too. You know that the Democrat political machine is going out to get these voters to the voting booths and, yes, President Obama is going to be re-elected. |

Independents will gravitate toward a more business friendly candidate. In addition, lots of people who did not vote in that election will vote, and not for Obama, because they'll have to take that chance at another opportunity for a better future. You've made your position well known, and so have I. We have a long time to wait to see who's correct. I still have a feeling in the end it'll be me grinning and you with the hang dog expression. Cheers!! |
It is going to be very interesting to see who the Republicans finally do put on their ticket.
