What a profound statement.
"Just because they were not found doesn't mean they were not there." Just to let you know, Bush II attacked Iraq because Sadam tried to assinate Bush I during a visit to Kuwait. It didn't set well with Bush II so when he had the chance he took ole Sadam out. Guess that is one way to "Say, Dad, I love you." on father's day. Bush II and is hip locked buddy, ruined General Powell. Way to throw someone under the bus that supposts you. Most of what Bush II did I was in support of. Sadam did need to be taken out, but not for the reasons we did it for. Also where is all the oil money that was to pay for our involvement in Iraq? Seems like that went out the window or maybe into some politicans pocket. |

I forget the name of the person who said the following about WMDs in Iraq.
[paraphrasing] "We know he has them, we sold them to him and still have the receipts" We just don't know what happened to them in the intervening years. |

Yes, Obama lied and 30,000 people have died. |
It was quite a while ago. During the run-up to the Iraq invasion when people were still debating how much time to give Saddam, what to do about the inspectors, etc.
The interview basically went "Well, he used CW on the Kurds and we sold him WMDs to fight the Iranians - we just don't know what he did with THAT stuff". Later in the interview the guy said a lot of the WMDs would have lost their effectiveness by now and would be about as dangerous as very toxic waste. If pressed, I think it was the interviewer who said "So it's like we have the receipts?" |
