It seems his interest about it was because he wanted to lay to rest the rumors and outright lies by the press that he was being investigated, not due to guilt, but because it was a hindrance to both him and the public at large. Too much of the press focus was on that and not about what he was trying to accomplish and moving forward. At least that was my understanding of it.

I thought Rubio was a rock star yesterday with his remark about all of this leaking that has been taking place except for one - that the President was NOT under investigation. Interesting - hmmm?

One question to you - if you were hearing and reading that you were under investigation, yet you knew you were NOT guilty, wouldn't you want to know what was really going on? Two ways to look at things......

His campaign was, and is still is under investigation period. Trump, as of Coney firing, was not AT THAT TIME, under investigation, BUT THAT COULD CHANGE.

Wait until Mullier has completed his investigation. Trump is and always has been a liar. Put him under oath, and he would still be a liar. He is in his imaginary world of Trumpland.

Abby, can you point me to one story that even hinted at personal involvement by Trump in collusion ? Just one.

Rubio has been severely diminished to me. For months, every single elected Republican, and actually Democrats have said the same thing....they, in closed or open hearings have heard nothing about Trump personally. Of course, his campaign...you never know, thus nothing to leak.

Do any of you EVEN CARE ABOUT the Russian hacking ? Do any of you care about a national security advisor either being unvetted or ignoring what they found ! Do any if you care about the President referring to the ex FBI as a "nut job" in our Oval Office while speaking to the head of Russian spy agency and joking with the Russian press about it? Do any of you care about the President lying to AND about the ex FBI director ? Do any of you care the President ripping apart this agency while knowing he is lying ? Do any of you care about Trumps personal attorney literally mKing things up to defend him ?

It appears that you do not care about our country, or lives of those he puts in jeopardy, but ONLY care about blind and total loyalty to a person, who you KNOW lies to you, has and will, and who you will trust to tell you the truth when the country is at risk.

It is depressing to come on here and see folks like you grasp onto "perceived" little phrases or words, and ignore the picture being painted of the President of the United States.

That you would stretch so much to try and even find a defense of this man is staggering.

Sorry for the late reply, but my ability to do so will be sporadic over the next couple of weeks due to work/travel/etc. Anyway, whether it's feel good crap or not as you say, my point is really about the MSM and the so-called leakers, how they choose to leak/report whatever they feel fits their agenda. I thought this is what Rubio was alluding to and what I also believe. I don't know the truth and honestly find it quite difficult to find it. Therefore, I try to withhold my judgment until further information is available to us.

My personal gut feeling is that I don't trust Comey anymore than I trust the President at this point in time. In other words, so far as I'm concerned it's a draw until someone actually proves something. Sure wish I had the time to visit with some people more in the know to get their opinions on the matter, but my schedule is not going to permit that at this time. I mention this because I tend to lean toward knowledge that is more first-hand than media driven, people who have worked in and for the system. Otherwise, I can only go by what I see, hear, and read, and I'm finding it more difficult every day to weed through the bias and to find truth. I'm trying not to jump to conclusions based on my beliefs or my desires. Some days it's not easy with all the emotion and bias out there in the press. News is just not news anymore and I'm more angry about that than anything. I would think that you feel the same, being the truth seeker you say you are.

I will be glad to supply any link you want on Trump's life of lying and deceit. Of course you can find that anywhere if you simply look.

I might add that your comments on the media are what he has planted in all his loyal followers head and it has no merit and his charges have never ever been specific at ANY TIME. I will read what you just posted in its entirety as soon as I get a chance, but just wanted to respond to something quickly. My mistrust of the media started way before Trump was even a blip on the radar screen as far as a Presidential candidate. This goes back some time. It's just that in my opinion it has gotten much worse over the past 10 years or so because of their obvious bias regarding political parties, ideologies, and agendas. It's not reporting news and just stating facts anymore. It seems to have morphed into something else.

I don't disagree that Trump has his issues......surely he does, but the media messaging changed direction long before him. This is not new. I should not be able to determine outright by listening to the news whether they despise a candidate/President or think he/she is the next best thing since sliced bread. If that is obvious then they are not doing their job properly. That is like me treating my clients differently on the job because I like one client better than another. That is totally unprofessional. JMHO, which may not be worth much, but it's how I see things. And it's not because I was fed anything by someone else, it's what I see/hear with my own eyes/ears.

We have a lowlife scumbag, lying POTUS with a supporting cult...that imitates his behavior. :ohdear:
