Help me out by pointing out the law that makes "colluding with a foreign government to affect the outcome of an election" a crime.

Yep. The ones who are against Trump admit that the wild accusations of "collusion" are not precisely legal, but rather colloquial. Translation: No crime.

Interestingly, super-liberal (and very distinguished) law professor Alan Dershowitz has spoken on the issue in many public venues.

While obliquely acknowledging that Chump constantly lies through his teeth and that his lies have been easily provable, you still can't bring yourself to just come right out and say... Trump is a narcisistic compulsive liar.

You do know the election is over and the person you.....well, hesitate or won't criticize...is now the President. He is to govern, the election is past. This is election campaign fodder, and not connected personally to Obama and his family.

Listen, I have been a conservative for many years. I probably support most of what Trump says he supports, and that is another subject. What does he really support ?

Anyway, I also never ever said Trump or his campaign ever colluded or any such thing. I just do not have the power to see that. However, I do know the person involved, and I am sure you and your ilk who loathe anyone not Trump or anyone that is not involved in various conspiracy theories, do not mind having a President who is a compulsive, chronic liar.

Knowing you don't mind, there is no reason to believe you would ever frown on this disputable man's behavior. Response is always, uniformly, and without exception, to speak of Obama or Clinton as if simply mentioning those names absolve Trump of all lies and deception.

We have a President that we cannot ever believe...we have a President who finds an American investigation into DIRECT involvement an intrusion by a foreign country (something you would think a President would welcome); his daily basis for speaking ; and a hoax. We have a President who finds the freedom of the press to be a real problem, and who speaks of leaks as if they were not coming from his staff and his WH.

We will just agree to disagree...most Trump supporters as you, find his actions to be fine; find lies from our Oval Office; accusations of a personal nature; and done on a worldwide basis to be just fine.

I suppose I have that syndrome that all those who depend on truth from the WH have..and my feelings because I absolutely find no reason to trust our President are just passé.

As Trump reminded everyone last night......Clinton did this..Clinton did that..someday he will catch up to the present.

PS...you mention your background and I respect that, but since you never inquire about anyone else's background, just allow...I do not pretend to have your law enforcement background, BUT I have spent my entire adult life involved with Republican politics, statewide (PA), nationally, and in fact a couple years working on the streets of Tampa (living at 345 Bayshore and Skypoint)..addresses only to validate what I say....I do not lack experience. I suppose my criteria for President is different than yours, and save me the lecture on Clinton please. I have stated many times on here that our nomination system left us down, and if you read the ridiculing posts from the trolls on here, you would know i voted, but not for either of the two main candidates.

Gotta love it when liberals accuse anyone of lying. They act like it is a major crime if Trump makes a mistake or is wrong in something he says. Liberals on here do not know the definition of lying. If they did, they would see that there is a requirement to have an intention to deceive. So much for that. By the way, by your definition or understanding of lying, give me one example of a politician that has not lied. Can't do it. So shut up.

So the statement by Rocket that you either support Trump's lies or you don't, is just a typical TROLL tactic.

I support President Trump, just as I support any other President. I also approve of a lot of what he has done so far. And don't give me that dumb @ss demand for a list of what he has done because there are lists all over the Internet. He is doing GREAT. Do I approve of his Tweets? I don't read his tweets, therefore I do not care what he says on them. Do I care that he is not a polished speaker? No. I judge the leader by the fruits of his work, not by what he says.

If that is not good enough, I really don't care because you don't mean a thing to me. I don't know any of you and I really do not care what you believe. I do know one thing, you are not loyal, patriotic American citizens judging by the way you disparage the President. So, I have no respect for you and I will tell you that to your face if you ever approach me.

I am not on here much anymore because I got tired of listening to you crybabies that are still in denial because Crooked, felon Hillary did not get elected. Personally, I hope she gets indicted by all of these investigations and finally sees real American justice. Then she can drop dead for all I care, or she can do it before the indictment. Either way, she will no longer be a problem in America. If that sounds harsh to you, live with it.

Any chance you have a link to anyone actually saying it was a crime ?

And as I said...sad day for America when we even need to discuss this subject. Not speaking of some activist, as both sides sadly have, but a reasonable person making that charge about it being a crime.

Frankly, I never even considered the discussion and as I said....we reach a low point as a country when the discussion of whether colluding, cooperating, whatever word you use, with a foreign country (albeit not an ally) to impact an American institution is a crime.

From CNN: Washington (CNN) "The Justice Department on Wednesday appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller as special counsel to oversee the federal investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, including potential collusion between President Donald Trump's campaign associates and Russian officials."

Special counsels are appointed to investigate crimes, not to investigate political activities that are not a crime. So, arguably, the Deputy Attorney General (an Obama appointee) who appointed Mueller was sending a message that collusion was a crime. (Attorney General Sessions had recused himself from the investigation.)

The letter of appointment specifically targets "any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals
associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump." I'll say it again, as did Liberal Lawyer Dershowitz, that is not a crime.

Thanks...your last post and others on this made it seem as if this was a rampant charge being made and apparently it is not.

Like I said, I do not think Trump personally colluded (uncovering the motivation for it might give him trouble personally), and think a discussion of whether anyone who did collude committing a crime is sort of missing the point. They are traitors first...whether you make a legal case or not.

You couldn't be more wrong. No one can be considered a traitor if they have not violated the definition of Treason as contained in Article Three of the Constitution.

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court."

We live in a nation of laws............not opinions.
