I am VERY VERY MUCH AWARE of Sen Obama's stand on all the issues !!!!! I need no help in digesting them.

Your smart aleck crack "I have faith in you" seems to be the atmosphere in this place. I have NEVER EVER been sarcastic or condesending to anyone in here....I was told that you folks wanted to discuss issues and not rumors. I agreed...brought up two issues and have not received any discussion whatsoever, in fact each response just had to have a "shot" in it like yours.

I suppose, and this will be a shot, that you and others are of the elite and look down on us poor slobs who really care about the issues and welcome intelligent and mature discussion. I do not like to be DISMISSED as you and others are prone to do !

Benj: I'm not a "follower" in the terms you are using with Senator Obama. I am a voter. And vote for him, I will. I have come to my decision by listening, really listening, to both candidates and they're respective stands on the issues.

In my mind, there is no contest. Senator Obama is far and away the better man to lead this country. :#1: For some reason, you and a few others can't seem to accept that fact.

You know I should have known better...the only other time I posted on here much was during the horse racing/gambling issue and ran into the same thing. A few of you "regulars" seem to feel like the elite of, not only this board, but The Villages in general.

Got news for you....I have been here since 1998 and we did real good without you....and your posting on this board gets you nothing.....when the gambling thing was going on you folks were simply dismayed that ANYONE would have the nerve to disagree with you...well, a right big majority did....and of course you all dismissed us as hicks or whatever the going derision was at that time.

Now again, you pronounce Sen Obama as the best yet you refuse to discuss any issues at all...you profess to listen...THAT IS FUNNY....you will never listen to any opinion that does not agree with you.

I have made every attempt to have a reasonable discussion on a DISCUSSION BOARD that is labeled poliltics and all that I can get for trying is to be dismissed and told what is what !
