The Republicans have their hands full now that Trump is coasting along in first place in polls. He appears to be unstoppable for the nomination - but the RNC KNOWS he would lose to Hillary!

How will the RNC de-rail Trump? Will they use Fox News to start lies about him being in cahoots with Hillary? Will they spread lies about Trump's connections with the Mexican drug cartel?

How will they prevent Trump from going third party?

They RNC will fully get behind whomever is their candidate, just as the DNC will get behind theirs. Fox news will do the same, supporting Trump by spending endless hours attacking whomever the Dems nominate. Trump will continue to make outrageous statements and will use the same interrupting and bullying debate style in the Presidential debates as too many confuse loud with thoughtful, volume with wisdom. And many will always side with a bully in the school yard and in the voting booth as they seem at least in the short term like a winner.

Good post - and provides for thoughts on what the country might look like with Trump as President.

Might be time to consider a move to the Cayman Islands - where Trump probably has lots of his assets stored in offshore banks.

Get ready for repubs to have a brokered convention. The power brokers are rubbing their hands together.

Maybe. After all, having money in the Caymans is not unlawful. Wealth envy is very unbecoming.

If you are going to disparage someone, then expect a reply. If that is all you can do and not have a post of substance, then you are nothing but a troll. Either way, you got your few seconds of attention. You can go now.

After reading all of the comments in this thread it once again demonstrates why this nation is in dire straights. Name calling and opinions are not arguments nor do they point to the facts.

For instance no one points to the affect demographics will have on this election. For the first time millennials eligible to vote are equal to baby boomers. The younger generation favor Sanders and the younger generation were taught to be suspicious of capitalism and that socialism is a better form of government.

Chances of a brokered convention are slim but one must never say never when it comes to politics. I mean the voters had a clear understanding of Obama's manifest incompetence and still voted for him a second time.

No one knows where this election is going even the pundits. Right now its all noise to get ratings. However, the nation will have a clear understanding once the primaries are completed in March.

Until then I am still praying for a Hail Mary pass because there is not one candidate running now who is worthy of this office. And yet, every one of the GOP candidates is heads above Obama.

Were in trouble and posters continue with flippant remarks. So one concludes either they don't know or they don't care?

Personal Best Regards:

I doubt we will see that great an influx of young voters. Maybe I am wrong, but most young registered voters are very self-centered at that age and their world does not include politics. I am saying, most. The ones that might be interested are interested because Sanders is offering them FREE college. And those are not the totality of the young registered. I don't believe that this election will be like the Obama election, where you had a multitude of black voters turn out, just to elect a black president. Like the young voters, this election does not particularly seem to effect the black demographic in their eyes.

Many see Sanders as a rebel, even though he is part of the establishment He is a loony that didn't even have a job until he was about 40 years old. He wrote pornography and he lives in a dream world of communist Utopia.

Trump is also considered a rebel in the effect of an anti-D.C. establishment. He thinks that because he is not a politician, that he won't become one when he joins the membership. He will simply be a politician without the experience. We already have one of those in the White House. Is he capable because he says things that we want to hear? Well, Obama said things that many wanted to hear also. Did he achieve his goal? Some say he has an excuse because he had resistance from the other side, even when he had ALL the power in his first two years. That may be the situation with Trump also. Shouldn't we have a president that understands political diplomacy? Shouldn't he understand the dire situation that our economy is in, or the national security threat we face?

I believe that there is a difference between a candidate that is establishment and one that is a rebel without a clue.

Sanders says he realizes that on one in congress will follow his agenda of socialism so he fully intends on using E.O.'s like Obama, only more so.

Trump indicates that he will be a bull in a china shop, going about his business without a clue to how the system works. Just because he knows something of business, he does not have a clue as to how our political system operates.

I would not ask an Xray technician to replace my knee and I would not vote for a car salesman to run my government.

Its not wealth envy, its about evading taxes. It may be legal, the repubs are great for that, but it is unethical.
